Depend on how good friends you are...
If you are "Best Friends" then NO... Trust me, I lost a very good friend after taking it to the next level...
But, if you are just friends who see each other occasionally and you both have the ability to say "this will be nothing more than sex" then, of course... You just have to make sure that you are both aware of the rules of the game you are playing and that neither of you will continue it if one feels more for the other...
I think its a great thing, as you not only satisfy your sex needs, but rather than having the complications of a proper full-on relationship, you can get the satisfaction with someone that you know, trust and feel comfortable with...

Yes, it is possible, though difficult. A term is called "F*&# Buddies". If both people can realize in the beginning, that it's not meant to mean anything more, then it may work. But invariably, one person always starts to put more feeling into it, eventually thinking there should be a relationship, but the other person doesn't want a relationship so the friendship falls apart as well.
However, the true question is, why would you want to have sex with someone without at least feeling anything emotional towards your partner? Is that what sex is becoming, just a way to get your rocks off without emotion, caring or feelings behind it?

It's not possible cos as friend u may feel no jealousy for each other relationship but when u have sex,its a union of not only 2 bodies but 2 hearts and soul it becomes a sacramental obligation that is why sex is a serious issue in anyones life and not to be taken lightly.If u don't want some thing real don't hit the bed.

you can have sex with anyone and it be meaningless but it's not a good idea to have sex with a friend. one of you will always feel more than the other and you will get into a really bad situation long term. once you have sex you are no longer just friends. many people do this and say it's ok but when they meet someone they really love and want to commit to they have really big problems and find it hard to form meaningful relationships. friends don't make out or go to bed with each other. boundaries are important for us to be able to trust each other. Getting jiggy with a mate is just lazy and why don't either of you thing you are worth loving and committing to?

Ummmm to me I do not see how. I know 2 friends of mine have sex and it means nothing more but I still do not see how, so is it possible yes maybe superficially but not whole-heartedly. I know deep down she cares but she only shares it when she is intoxicated.

yup, been there, done that. It's called "Friends with benefits". The girl and I both knew we would never make a good couple in any exclusive relationship but we really enjoyed each other in bed - absolutely no strings attached.

yes it is possible to have only sex with friend. but , before doing it should be clear from both sides that it is just a sexual relationship and nothing else . if both are ready than go ahead . enjoy. if not please dont play with other person emotions.

after u had sex with ur friend u cannot hide the fact that ur not comfortable with him/her anymore. talk it over with him/her.
