I'm of average built (5"3 and 115pounds), generally look alright, but I have some fat on my upper body, mainly around arms, on the stomach, lower belly, and on the back, so not very toned. My legs are almost perfect, but my butt is a bit small, so I don't have the perfect curve.........
I used to jog everyday for 40 minutes, but didn't see much result on losing the fat. ( I eat home cooked meal, mostly rice with cooked vegie and meat, normal quantity)
CAn anyone give me some suggestion on how to tone up on upper body and get big on the butt?

Upper body can be acheived by target training Incline push-ups, small weight dumbells.
Stomach muscle need to targeted by crunches, sit-ups try using weights with your work outs.
Butt you said you use to run but saw no results because you conditioned your muscles for your weight increase the stress leg weights work wonders - esp. on incline.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Well, in general, diet and exercise are always the key to weight loss. I think it's important you also realize that pregnancy and child birth does permanently alter your body. Even if you weighed 135 prior to having your kids, that doesn't mean you will ever weigh that again, and you should be okay with that. Aim for being healthy and fit. Weight is far less important. Also, a lot of woman develop flab in the abdominal area from being pregnant due to the stretching of the ab muscles and skin caused by the pregnancy. Try doing exercises that focus on your core (i.e. Pilate's). You may not ever have a tight stomach again (without surgery), but it will very likely help in losing weight and toning muscle.

Jessica Simson did a lot of squats and leg exercise before she did the duke of hazzard movie. This may sound strange but a lot of cleaning and farm type labor will loose the upper body fat. Being more active in chores and low impact long duration task like hand waxing a car is good exercise for your upper body. You can even make these task fun by putting on some head phones with your favorite music.

You can't spot reduce fat. When you lose weight you do it from your whole body. It's impossible to just lose weight from certain areas on your body.
Your best bet is to alternate cardio and resistence training. That is, if you start tomorrow... you'd do cardio, the next day you'd do weight training, Friday you'd do cardio again and so on.

This wont get rid of upper body fat (You need to diet for that) but pilates will build your muscles nicely and everything will look firm without overdone. And its extremely fun to do. You can rent a pilates tape, and you dont need lots of tools to do it besides a good floor that wont hurt your back.

There is no solution if you look like your pictuer there. lol
You should eat some more and excersize in areas you want to loose wight. Then your butt will build. BUt, if you wanna keep it strong, then, excerize there too.
