Well, I was so into this girl and everytime I was around her, I felt my heart pounding. She was everything I could ever want, sweet, nice and pretty. We did all the things that a couple would do. Everytime I was with her I felt so happy, but she was the type that can't settle down and be with one guy. I've done so much for her and have never gotten or even ask anything in return. Even on my birthday. The problem was that she used guys to make her feel better and I was just one of them. Took me a long time to realize that, but lots of girls are flaky. Just watch out guys. That is why its hard for me to find those feelings again with anyone else.

Wow this is a good one. Yes I did that. My ex-husband would walk in the room and I would literally loose my breath. I would stare at him when he slept. Now the key word here is " my ex-husband". When we broke up I thought I was just going to die!!! But it took a while and a miracle happen. I found someone else and I am happier now then I have ever been. I also think I was in love with love with him. You need to remember also you romanticize someone after they are gone. Think real hard about what the reality was, and you will start to open your heart to someone else. Best to you.

Yes, I had those feelings in a relationship of 13 years. I've never given anyone else a chance. But, don't settle, it's definitely possible to feel that way again. Just don't compare someone else to your ex, or it will never work.

I gotta say I'm going through that right now, he was my drug, my love. It's been over a year, and it's so hard to forget. The thought of loving someone else it's so distant, but I know I don't want to settle- like he once said "It's all or nothing, never settle". God I miss him, Good luck ;)

I'm in a situation where I'm in love with a man for now going on 6 years! And get this, it's long distance! We're emailing and he comes over to my apartment when he can. I know he has a social life and yes, it bothers me. But bringing it up only makes me look insecure and that makes him pull away from me. I don't want that so we email goofy pics to each other and keep in touch every day. Communication is the key! Keep talking!

MOST DEFINITELY! I recall back my sophomore year of college. There was a girl two years older than me, but she was so gorgeous. She had a nice personality at first, but later I found out she already had a boyfriend, and she later got pregnant, so everything went out the window. But I must admit, I could not, no matter how hard I tried, get her face from my mind. She was one of a kind!!!!!

Dude, I feel your pain. I was there once, when I was in high school. The girl just wanted help in her Math just to get through her senior year. It was my first experience on the "falling in love hopelessly" department.

If you can, the best way to end the stress of it is to walk away from it while you can.

No, but I hope it will happen someday. Edit: I know it sounds weird, but it's better to love and loss than never to love at all.

Sorry that it didn't work out.

You will find someone else who makes you feel that way, eventually.

No promises on how soon, though.
