with somone how do you want to be perceived as ignorant using little words or intelligent using bigger words

I dont believe the use of small or large words defines ones intelligence...

Trying to use big words in an effort to sound intelligent will only make you look ignorant. Use whatever words you feel best portray the ideas you trying to get across.

Neither , just myself and some times that is good enough.
