I'm not an alcoholic but from what I understand they have to drink it's like they get sick and shaky when they need a drink. There have been people who've died just by not drinking. You can have blackouts. I know it must be terrible to be addicted to anything and very hard to live with anyone like this...
It's not really a laughing matter!!!!!!!!

Well you would drink yourself into depression in order to escape being depressed. Make any sense?
You feel like crap until you take that drink. And the drink makes you feel so good that you're not satisfied till you get more, and more.
Then you hate yourself and the whole world.
And you start over again.

being an alcoholic will make you incapable of walking straight most of your day...you will feel that your throat is forever dry ...your hands shaking...your liver starting to ache....your speech is a shuttering voice...your sight is blurry and you smelled like yesterday's pee....you sleep and snored most of your life....

I don't know i don't drink. but I know someone he drinks from the time he wakes up until he goes to bed. he's life style didn't change same boat to nowhere.
