Why is it when you eat something really sour, only one eye flinches??

Every time I eat something like Rhubarb (raw and really sour) you get that sour face but only close one eye . . . Like it doesn't affect the other one?

I dunno maybe its the way your brain reacts or whatever, like you know which side of the brain you use to recognize that its sour maybe thats the eye that twitches?

that is a really good question! i never thought about that. the same thing happens to me. only my left eye twitches. i have no idea why that happens.
