I was born a catholic, raised a catholic, had a few freinds in various protestant churches, all the christian mumbo jumbo didn't make sense to me so i renounced my christian/catholic faith and became a Buddhist where it is clearer and makes more sense.

I was brought up in a Christian family. This doesn't mean you will be a Christian,I know people who were bought up Christian and have rejected Christanity.
I have Christian friends & it was seening God working other peoples lives. I had some medical problems when I was younger and God has healed me of those problems.
If you are thinking about becoming a Christian maybe you like to go along to a local church.
Sorry about such a long answer. Hope you find what your looking for.

I was raised in a preacher's family. Made a decision as a child. But at the age of 26 the preacher, not my daddy, was reading Psalm 51 and the Holy Spirit convicted me right then and there that if I died in that moment I would go to hell. I bowed my head and asked Jesus to forgive my sins and I read the Psalm as my prayer for living a life with a head full of knowledge about Jesus, but no heart for him. It was 15 minutes before the pastor called for invitation, and it felt like it was 15 hours! I ran to the pastor and told him how decieved I'd been all those years since I was a little girl and my life was a picture of deception, but that I had ask Jesus to come into my heart and he'd better pray with me quick and let my confession be made known out loud or I was going to burst - I had a 1 year old son that I just left sitting in the pew like he was a big boy - a nice lady set him down in the floor and he crawled to me - it was rural country church in AR - Bro. Johnny Lawson, may God give him a hug for me tonight, was the vessel that God used to allow the Holy Spirit to convict me. I've never looked back, I've sinned, and I'm sure I will some more, but I keep fighting the good fight - and that means a lot of praying, seeking forgiveness, and BIble reading. That's my testimony and it hasn't ever changed and it never will, just like my Savior. Thank you Lord for one who has allowed me to share the single greatest moment in my life, the day you called me to be yours and I said ok. Amen.

I was raised Catholic, sent to evangelical summer camps. I chose to become Roman Catholic last year, because I felt like I had found my center in the church. I have learned about other religions, but I'm sold on the Catholic Church (still haven't sworn to Rome or another rite...). No where else can i find such a close relationship with my creator and my savior.

most of the Christan's are Christan's because they are born in a Christan home but how can i accept Christianity since i m not born in a Christan home .Trinity is a fiction it dint make sense &logic ,the only sourse where they try to convince us is from BIBLE but what about if some1 dont believes in bible if trinity was so important than mosses, david, lot ,....etc would have preached it but it was only christainity .The jews also believe in one God (YAHWA) i didnt get it .We can all have true salvation if JESUS was sent after ADAM . There are still many issues to be resolved like why catholic make images of HOLY ONES (prohibted in bible not to make images) also about the new borns unbaptized babies that never get chance to accept JESUS as savior they are born with the inherit sin of parents ??

CHRISTIAN IS NOT A RELIGION IT IS A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOU AND GOD.
when i stared knowing the truth about chirst and his love for human kind then i was gulity of my sins.
see for the bible clearly says that "there is no other god before me" you should worship me alone,b'coz i'm the living god who created this universe and the very purpose we are created is to worship him alone in spirit and in truth.
see god so loved the world that he gave his only son to die for us and for our sins. that is the reason that helped me leave my past beliefs and to know the truth.
and if you wanna know more about christ the best way is to read the bible because that is the only book where you have all the answer and it really speaks to you.
i'm the best example of that

Because my previous ways still left me feeling empty and alone. With Jesus, He is my Best Friend, My Comforter, My Counselor, My Savior. There is such a peace that I cannot explain, even when I am battling with a trial, I know that God will guide me and direct me and bring a peace to my heart. He is My Rock and My Strength!

It is a really long story, in short I was angry and asked God if He was real to show me He cared. He answered my prayer many times over.
