I have been dating a guy casually for about a month and a half. Initally it was both of our decisions to keep it casual. Him because he has a young son and didnt want him to get attatched to me, and me because I had just seperated from my husband. I would like to talk to him about being exclusive, but is it still too early for that?

it depends on how you feel, if the timing is right also if you don't you wont know how he feels, and if he does not feel the same way, you wont waste too much time when you can move on to the next rather than wait and find out that it is not what he really wanted then you lose out and feel that it was a waste of time.

Yeah I would say some more time would be good to talk about that. You both are coming from different situations that stilll is fresh in the air. Let it breath. A month is a little soon, or not enough time. If he really is into you he will stick around. Good Luck.

It's too early...Why are you rushing things? You've only been dating for a month and a half. Take things one step at a time as there is no rush.
