Mexico's Immigration Laws
* Pursuant to Article 33, "Foreigners may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country." This ban applies, among other things, to participation in demonstrations and the expression of opinions in public about domestic politics like those much in evidence in Los Angeles, New York and elsewhere in recent days.
* Equal employment rights are denied to immigrants, even legal ones. Article 32: "Mexicans shall have priority over foreigners under equality of circumstances for all classes of concessions and for all employment, positions, or commissions of the Government in which the status of citizenship is not indispensable."
* Jobs for which Mexican citizenship is considered "indispensable" include, pursuant to Article 32, bans on foreigners, immigrants, and even naturalized citizens of Mexico serving as military officers, Mexican-flagged ship and airline crew, and chiefs of seaports and airports.
* Article 55 denies immigrants the right to become federal lawmakers. A Mexican congressman or senator must be "a Mexican citizen by birth." Article 91 further stipulates that immigrants may never aspire to become cabinet officers as they are required to be Mexican by birth. Article 95 says the same about Supreme Court justices. In accordance with Article 130, immigrants - even legal ones - may not become members of the clergy, either.
* Foreigners, to say nothing of illegal immigrants, are denied fundamental property rights. For example, Article 27 states, "Only Mexicans by birth or naturalization and Mexican companies have the right to acquire ownership of lands, waters, and their appurtenances, or to obtain concessions for the exploitation of mines or of waters."
* Article 11 guarantees federal protection against "undesirable aliens resident in the country." What is more, private individuals are authorized to make citizen's arrests. Article 16 states, "In cases of flagrante delicto, any person may arrest the offender and his accomplices, turning them over without delay to the nearest authorities." In other words, Mexico grants its citizens the right to arrest illegal aliens and hand them over to police for prosecution. Imagine the Minutemen exercising such a right!
* The Mexican constitution states that foreigners - not just illegal immigrants - may be expelled for any reason and without due process. According to Article 33, "the Federal Executive shall have the exclusive power to compel any foreigner whose remaining he may deem inexpedient to abandon the national territory immediately and without the necessity of previous legal action."

fact, they are americans who live in mexico and buy land with no problem they can go to mexico, and can stay up to six months at a time with passport unlike the mexican who come here with a passport is only good for one month at a time. any american or mexican will go to jail if they break the law and they break the law because the american think just because they are in mexico they can break the law since they believe mexico is a country of drugs, that is false, you go to mexico you use drugs you break the law you go to jail, the jails in mexico do not have 3 meals a day like they have here if you go to jail in mexico you don't get any meals at all, if anyone has a family in jail in mexico, the families have to take them food if they want to eat. so don't go to mexico and break the law, is the worst system and you do not want to end up in jail in mexico it will be your worst nightmare. and americans are not treated bad in mexico even if they are ilegal, they can have their business and run it for less money than they do in the usa.

At this moment in time, nothing. We can go to Mexico anytime we want because we are Americans. I live in El Paso, which is connected to Juarez, Mexico.
If Mexico was rich and we were poor, most of us would be killed long before someone tries to capture us and send us back. Those poor immigrants that come to Mexico from other countries are treated worst than war criminals.
The current president of Mexico lives up to his name Fox. There is something sinister about that man.

This is the official position. There are many stories of immigrants being shot, but I believe they are from across the southern border of Mexico, not from here. If you search "shot" and "Mexico" in this forum you should come up with some links. They were a few weeks back.

First of all, we have what is called free border: when you cross to The borders cities all across mexico, you cross without any papers alot, you go to TJ(Tijuana, and you are free without paper all the way to Hermosillo, about 6 hours drive. After that point you need to show passport.
All the americans retirees that live in Mexico, they do with their passport, they came back every 6 months to collect their pensions and social security checks.
There are thousands of americans citizens that live in Mexico, and they bought properties thru a trust company.
They have a lease of the land for 100 years.
To work in Mexico, all they need is the worker paper, easily bough in the Mexican Consulate in any American City with mexican consulate.
You need the company affidavit that is going to employ you, your ID, pictures and wala you have it.
So it is difficult to be illegal in Mexico.
Not that same for our south neighboors of South of the Mexican border, they are harass, and extort for money.
but eventualy there is nothing that money can't buy in Mexico.

maximum crucial American females interior the north of Mexico artwork in strip golf equipment. Venezuelans, Dominicans and Salvadorians. an fairly few unquestionably artwork of their very own businesses or maybe fewer get legalized and artwork in diverse trades or factories. adult adult males hardly ever stay in Mexico, as they had particularly go the border to the U. S.. None of them are "persecuted", in view that there is no longer that a lot of them and that they do no longer truly recent conceivable to each and all of us and one way or yet another they provide a provider. even although, crucial individuals (as quickly as they have crossed the border to the U. S.) can get their resident and/or citizenship status a lot speedier than Mexicans can, which places them in an fairly diverse status. particular, a lot of Mexican police and goverment are biggot pigs, yet for the main section Mexican voters do no longer truly care, in view that back it is not a actual subject.

You are not going to find too many illegal Americans in Mexico, for obvious reasons. You need to be worried about those poor Hondurans, Guatamalens, etc., the Mexican military beats and/or rapes before they deport them.
Refer to the Constitution of Mexico( this an exerpt, I don't speak spanish fluently and reading the Mexican constitution takes more time for me than it would for you.)
to see the lack of rights non-Mexicans have in Mexico.
Example Article 27 states that “Only Mexicans by birth or naturalization and Mexican associations have the rights to obtain ownership of lands, waters, and their accessories, or to obtain mining or ground water concessions. The State has the power to concede the same right to foreigners, as long as after verifying with the Secretariat of Relations that they will respect the lands and waters as nationals would and will not invoke the protection of their governments.”
In other words, for a Mexican, land ownership is a right; for foreigners, it is a privilege for it exists at the pleasure of the Mexican State.
Article 32 states that “In time of peace, no foreigner may serve in the Army, or in police or public security forces.”
Military service is one avenue for citizenship for foreign nationals in the United States, mind you.
Article 33 states that “the Executive of the Union has the exclusive right to expel from the national territory, immediately and without necessity of judicial proceedings, all foreigners whose stay it judges inconvenient. Foreigners may not, in any manner, involve themselves in the political affairs of the country.”
A foreigner can be deported for being "inconvenient." Furthermore, the U.S grants illegals the right to protest in the streets, but no foreigner is allowed in any way to interfere with Mexican politics.
Articles 55, 58, 82, 91, and 95 all stipulate that only Mexicans citizens by birth may run for office or become public officials. In the case of their President, the individual must not only be Mexican by birth, but also the son or daughter of Mexicans by birth.
Finally, Article 130 states that “ministers may not associate themselves for political ends, or preach in favor of or against any political candidate, party, or association. Neither may they oppose the laws of the country or its institutions, nor insult patriotic symbols in any form, in public meetings, acts of the sect, or religious literature.”
Furthermore, if you have read the news lately, Fox has enacted a bill that bars non- Mexicans(even those who were naturalized or borne of one or both non-Mexican) from having jobs in Mexico.
And Mexicans have the audacity to complain about the injustice of the American government and it's treatment of illegals.

What next, putting guards on the outsides of prison to keep people from breaking in? Few people want to sneak into a country that is so corrupt and backward unless they are fleeing the law.

They would charge them money to get a tourist visa (that lasts 6 mos) I am thinking at least $50 (dollars) I lost my tourist visa once and that was what they made me pay. Mostly they wouldnt notice. There would be no jail time. No one would shoot you etc.
