Bombay has just been voted the rudest city on earth by Readers Digest. I assume the good subscribers to Reader Digest have neve queued up to buy a bottle of beer from a beer shop in New Delhi. Who are really the rudest people.
BTW New Yorkers were voted the most polite.

i will have to say everyone that answered this question is dang rude to judge whos rude and the dum @$$ that ask the question is rude also how can anyone sit there and point the finger at who's rude when your all rude even me !!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about people from bombay, but the indian i know is very polite.
After spending 10 years living with them, I'd have to say that SOME Germans are rude, the ones I know personally aren't but there are some in the supermarket who push your trolley away to get past even if you're standing beside it and they don't say anything, they ram their trolleys up your ankles when you're waiting in a queue so I've learnt to put my foot out at an angle so they can't kill me! but otherwise they are ok,
I think it just depends where you are and who's around you, it's the same everywhere.
it's like saying americans are rude, because the ones i know aren't and i don't think i would like them if they were... and the ones we met in orlando weren't either, so again it depends who's around you at the time

The rudest (not unfriendly, but RUDE -- deliberately and maliciously discourteous and inconsiderate) people I've ever encountered are the Cubans of South Florida. I quote a typical comment: "You Anglos make all these stupid f*cking rules and then are f*cking stupid enough to expect people to follow them -- I love to piss you stupid f*cking Anglos off."
When I win the lottery, I am going to put up huge bill boards all over Miami, that read "Fidel won. It was a long time ago. Get over it."

As a nation for sure the English (Not British English) they are pompous overbearing arrogant ,I could go on but I think I've got the message thro'?
Next in line (any where in the world) are the young kids who show no respect for their elders. (You have a few that have answered this question)
The elders have good reasons for having "slow moving butts" and trying to give advice,if you are impolite to your elders you are likely to be intolerant to every one , which makes a few of you on here top of the rude list!
But at least not as bad as the English, in fact you are probably English your selves??

I am sure New Delhi is a nice place, but readers digest is a christian publication and as you may well know their lack of tollarence and plain ingorance of foreign non-anglo cultures.
Just the same most rich people are rude no matter what counrty they are from.

All of us born plain..neither rude nor good. BUt we were shape here we r, so called people who is civilize..anyway i dont think by asking this question could really tell who the rudest among all..

i think people are rude everywhere...it's just how you find them...some have good days and some bad...we all are obnoxious every now and then...but if i had to say a type of rude person...old people...they are so righteous! so lecturing, so you don't know what it's like kid...so i've lived all these years...whatever..i have old fart uppity neighbors like that....and guess what...she's go a 1985 El Camino...oooh.....lame!
