It wasn't an affair, it was a marriage, and the Da Vinci Code was neither the first nor the best account of that.
The idea that Jesus was married to the Magdelene is hundreds of years old, and there are very well-argued and supported books that put forward the same theory.
I think that there is more evidence that Jesus was married than that he wasn't. Christians have never offered convincing proof beyond their own prejudices that this is the case--even their supposedly infallible Bible (even if it were not edited and revise, which it was) does not offer any proof to refute the idea that Jesus was married.

Dan Brown is nothing but a cunning writer where he found a safe base to start his game. The base from where he started his book is already well known to the whole world and so he had no doubt that his book would be a best seller. His mind is nothing better than that of a crazy street boy who tries to spoil or tarnish a sculpture or a statue or a painting that was admired by rest of the world. He succeeded in doing it. The act can be compared with that of the Talibans who destroyed the Budha’s statue. Here, I am not comparing their aims
Dan Brown, Salman Rushdie, Kazantzakkis etc.are all such writers who had another indirect aim in their minds that fame is easy when they try to tarnish a famous matter. Keeping aside their literary talents there is nothing worth admiring. But they succeeded and the media and whole world are being fooled. Moreover, when one religion is insulted the rest rejoice. This is another key point of their success.

There are at least 45,000 Protestant churches in the U.S.
What caused all these different beliefs if the MESSAGE is so clear?
What makes you believe that you have more than a 1 in 45,000 chance of being in the 'correct' church?
Virgin Birth - A preconceived notion?
What is the Imacculate Conception?
An Imacculate deception?
Betcha don't know.
Did Jesus give up Saturday for us?
Jesus? Christianity? .
If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.
Gods do not die? Do they?
If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?
If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.
If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!

Poor Da Vinci...he's probably rolling over in his grave. What a genius he was, and now he's stuck with a work of fiction...sigh. When people hear his name they'll no longer remember his great works of art or his inventions...they'll remember The Code. Life can be strange.

Do I agree with a fictional book that makes up a story about a fictional character from another fictional book? No. But, if you read the Bible, you'll see that Jesus was followed by a lot of women, so he probably had loads of girlfriends. :o)

It wasnt an "affair" it presumes Jesus was married and had a child. No I dont agree, but marriage and childbearing isnt a sin so even if He did, it wouldnt change anything.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! what an idiot who did such a thing as to have this stupid movie come out. I believe it is the work of SATAIN. And whomever thinks this way is true is a idiot. As our Lord says in the Last Days there will be people who will try and make people stray from his word and these people are falling right into the plan of Satain.

The story line
attacks the very heart of the Gospel and attempts to destroy the very nature
and character of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God. (Why do the
heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth
set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and
against His anointed? Psalm 2:1, 2)
Satan knows his time is about up and now he will attempt to take one
of his best shots by enlisting all of hell to belch out its worse deception
in that of stripping Jesus Christ of His Divine nature and turning him into
a mere man who secretly marries Mary Magdalene. To add insult to injury the
story depicts the idea that certain shadowy Christian groups for 2,000 years
have purposely and secretly hidden this so called "fact" behind the scenes
and thus it is finally revealed in a coded message buried in Leonardo Da
Vinci's painting. Even the movie trailer for this story presents it as
"the truth" finally revealed about Jesus! (this is just what the Islamic
Fascists need to give added credence to their bloody, destructive campaign
of global terror!)
It is time for Christians (the Body of Christ) everywhere to rise up
and expose this lie from the pit of hell that will be perpetuated on the
whole world in just a couple of short months. This is no time to back down
in the "day of battle". It is a time to pray and fast like never before
that God will raise up a standard against the enemy as he comes in like a
flood. Satan always "overplays his hand" and once again he is about to
overplay it big time because as usual he overplays it right into God's plan
to present the "truth" to the whole world. "..and this Gospel of the kingdom
shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then
shall the end come".Matthew 24:14
Oswald Chambers states in his timeless writing My Utmost For His
Highest ."Our calling is not primarily to be holy men and women but to be
proclaimers of the Gospel of God. The one all-important thing is that the
Gospel of God should be recognized as the abiding reality." Yet we have to
ask ourselves today when this abiding reality comes under direct attack who
will defend it? The answer can only be that those of us who have been
transformed by it's truth for eternity will and must defend it here and now.
Pray that Christian lay people, prayer leaders, writers, pastors, and
all those in Christian media outlets will get the message out and expose
this deception of hell and reveal the lie this movie will present before it
ever hits the theaters.
We can only say about Tom Hanks & Ron Howard "Father forgive them for
they know not what they do" but to the enemy of the cross we can only
declare to him, "go ahead take your best shot because your time is up and
you will soon be cast into the lake of fire"
