for "hadenough"! F.A.I.R. (federation for American immigration reform) is a wonderful group,and also grassfire.org!! These are people who are fighting for the CITIZENS of this country! You can sign an online petition. The House said they "will NOT succumb to pressure from the senate"!!! THANK GOD!!!

I think enough is happening that they have to face the issue rather they like it or not-good.
And Seal-or Anyone-Who are the biggest groups out there and who has petitions for the American people who want-Border security or no Amnesty? And have some growing power. Besides the Minutemen?

I think that is a mistake, actually. Yesterday they were saying they would hold hearings, but I thought it would be in Congressional chambers where decorum could be maintained.
I do like the hearings idea. I don't like the idea that it will be taken as a possible straw vote of concern, depending on who shows up.
And what it means is that 'comprehensive reform' is essentially dead until after the elections. The House is pushing for border security first and is going to analyze all the agonizingly bad amendments stuck in at the last moment in public so the media can't help but report them. Kennedy is pissed.

I get the same newsletter. This is good news. The overwhelming majority of Americans oppose ANY type of road to citizenship for illegals. The overwhelming majority also includes the house of Representatives. Illegals should NOT benefit from breaking the law. Why that concept is so difficult to understand for some is a testament to their "education"

Okay then, YES, this is a GOOD thing! I hope they will spread the word in the news and advertise where this will be held so that as many legal American citizens as possible will be sure and be there to voice their opinions! If illegal citizens show up, I hope the INS people will be there with their vans to round them up and ship 'em out right there!
