First of all, id like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to answer this question.

In Islam, we believe of Allah's names and attributes, is that He is All-Hearing and All-seeing.

Provided one is a Muslim, meaning he only worships Allah Alone, without any partners, When a Muslim raises his hands up with his palms facing the sky, in the position kind of like a beggar, for you are begging something of the All-Mighty Allah. and you then state what you want, Allah Promises us in the Quran that "Call upon me, and I will answer your call"

So As Muslims, we MUST have FULL believe that God will answer our prayers, and I swear by Allah, He always answers.

I ask Allah to guide you to Islam, so that you may Taste it's sweetness and gain the fruits of Faith. ameen.

If you believe
1. that there is no object worthy of worship but Allah (God)
2. you believe in the angles
3. Heaven and hell
4. The Books that came before (the Old testament, Gospels, Quran)
5. you believe in the all the Prophets of God starting from Adam, including Moses, Jesus, Abraham, Noah, and Muhammad peace be upon all of them)
and finally
6. Divine decree.

than welcome to Islam.

Finally, if you do not wish to listen to anything i've said, at least do one thing which you have nothing to lose.

Seek guidance from God himself to guide you on the strait path, and see where it leads you.

I Swear by Allah, that if you Sincerely and whole-heartedly ask Him for Guidance to the truth. He will lead you to it.

you have nothing you lose.

I ask God to guide you all to the truth. ameen.

There is no absolute way to tell if there is a God, and there is no proper way to pray. It says in the Bible that you shouldn't pray for things for yourself, per se. Your prayers may be answered in ways you wouldn't really notice. First, always acknowledge the things you've been given, like your health, clothes, a roof over your head, and your loved ones. Good things will come to you when you care about others, and don't pray every night for some money, a car... something materialistic. Pray for things that matter, and you'll see that those prayers are the ones that are usually answered, unless He has a plan of his own.

The only way to tell if there is a God is to look around you. A sunny day, a child being born. He's done so many great things that few people stop to take a look. Just like, "stop and smell the roses"... stop to look at the things He's created for your enjoyment and love that most people overlook.

I know a lot of people like you, that's not necessarily bad.But a lot of people think God need to answer your prayers as soon as you ask, or they think that he has to say yes. You know that No is an answer, but people have a hard time accepting that. The funny thing about people is they only pray when they need something, how sad is that. Why not have a relationship with God? then you wont have to pray only when you need something. I can tell that you are angry at God for something, but don't be. He has a plan for you, you just have to surrender to him. When you have a solid relationship with God, you wont need to ask these kind of questions, you will have the knowledge and wisdom to understand life. Oh ya, there is no such thing as a proper way to pray, and contrary to popular belief, all prayers are answered, because it is either YES, NO, or WAIT. People have this strange perception that an answered prayer means YES!!! I hope this sees you well, and God Bless you. I'll pray that you gain the wisdom you need to understand the things you don't.

Is there something inside you that protests when someone else does you wrong...? Then you have a conscience, and a belief in the existence of right and wrong.

The God of the Bible has promised to save those who call on Him. Jesus gave a clear example of how to pray in the Lord's Prayer. He also told his disciples that he would do anything that was asked in His Name.

You must be in Christ so that you have authorization to use His Name in prayer and you must pray according to God's will.

There are many ways to describe the first prayer a person prays to God, asking to be forgiven and to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. Some call it the sinner's prayer, some call it a prayer of repentance and confession some call it the prayer of salvation.

But don't sweat the nomenclature. Just get started. One of the great things about God is that He knows our hearts, and He can tell when we come to Him sincerely. He is gentle when He corrects us. and he does not jump all over our rib cage when we make a mistake. So do it. Trust Christ for you everlasting salvation, and tell Him so. Ask Him to lead you. He will do it!

Its' a process, just keep praying and overtime (especially if you write your prayers down) many will come true.

Some people create a God Can. Get a can with a lid, and put your prayers in the can, then in 6 months go back and read them; you will find most were answered, maybe not in the exact way you wanted, but they will be answered.

Remember, give your will over to God, say your prayer and then remember you can't, but God Can.

By asking me!

- There isn't a god out there

- A nonexistent being doesn't answer prayers

- There is no proper way to pray, prayer doesn't work no matter how you do it

God put a knowing that he existest in everyones heart.. Thats why when you dont have God or your not saved you feel empty like there is a part of you missing a void.. It is like the wind you cant see it but you see the effects of it you feel it, He is like that.. He will answer your prayers as long as you keep it up.. There is no proper way.. God knowes your heart he knowes if you mean it.. You can always start like forgive me for my sins and I pray that you will help me with this or heal this person.. Just talk to him like your friend cause that is what he is your friend and heavenly father.. I hope that helps you.

You can't know for sure that there really is a god out there, you just have to believe it. You pray by saying "god, I've done this and this and this wrong, and I am sorry, please forgive me, could you help me find a way to" and tell him your problems. He always answers your prayers, sometimes the answer is 'no'

There is a number of ways you can pray, indoors/outdoors- standing up, sitting down, etc. I don't think it matters how. Knowing that God exists is a inner journey but i suggest you keep all your options open. Just because a religon works for one person doesn't mean it will work for everyone. Don't be afraid to look in different paths and if someone trys to force or manipulate you to believe a certain way then that should put up a red flag to you. Just keep searching and keep an open mind.

God is available 24 hours a day. You can pray in your head or out loud. He can hear you. You can kneel down in your room. You can pray walking down the street, you can pray getting groceries.

Pray through the day! The thing is to listen for the answers. God will answer your prayers but we sometimes forget to listen for the answers.

God loves you and wants you to Accept his son Jesus Christ.
