Time will tell my friend.. the real question is where will you fit

There are at least two possibilities: America may be part of the 'coastlands'; the 'ends of the earth' that the Bible mentions. The American continents were certainly generally unknown to most Europeans, Asians and Africans back then.

The other possibility is that the eagle mentioned in Revelation refers to America; it is spoken of as having an eternal gospel to proclaim, which does not seem in keeping with the Imperial Roman eagle.

The third possibility, unpalatable as it may be to most Americans is that America may no longer exist as it does today at the time of the end. Many other nations (apparently unaware that they would be killing the goose that lays the golden eggs) would like to see a time when America no longer exists.

The revived Roman empire (the one-world government which will be ruled by the beast and the false prophet) may abolish or balkanize America.

We do not yet know which will happen. But when things begin to happen, they are likely to be more terrifying than we can now imagine, and sooner than we might think.

For the most part she doesn't. However, because she will still be here and many people with her, her role will continue to be as the role of all heads of governments until they are combined into a definitive one-world role of which they will then divide into a portion who sides with Israel, which they had better, and a portion who does not, who will be sorry they didn't. Most of the Revelations are for the conversion of the Jews, it's more their last opportunity to see that Christ was who he claimed. Pagans or non-Jews will not have the Holy Spirit to guide them into conviction, which is why I say for the most part they don't fit into the last days at all - the individuals will have made their choices, and basically so will the nation by the time of the resurrection. It's not to say they won't undergo the same torturous plagues, etc., because they will. That's why it is of the utmost that people realize their need for Jesus Christ now and that any second later could be a second too late.

No one knows for sure how America will fit into the end times since the Scripture in Revelation states that all nations will come against Israel at Armagedon. How can the USA come against Israel at that time since we have been and probably alway will be an ally? Perhaps America will become an isolationist nation again or we might be destroyed in a major war. There is predicted to be one more major war and it is said in Scripture that mankind will become as rare as fine gold.

There is no specific reference...there is a verse in the old testament that refers to "an eagle", and some say it is America, but applied in that way, it really doesn't say a lot.

Some people think that our absence in scripture is a sign that America will decline and play no real role in the world stage in the end times. But all this really means is that America plays no significant role in Israel's eye, as the tribulation is really a time when all focus is back on God's chosen people. If you look, the only other countries you see specifically reference or inferred are those who are responsible for leading assaults on Israel. And things don't turn out too well for them when they do. So perhaps it's a good thing America doesn't seem to be mentioned.

Revelations and Daniel are all about the last days. The bible is all about the time everything was lost until everything is saved, time before earth became the focus, and how long it took for each day was not a focus, except it will all be one day.

Dan.12:1-13l Rev,12:6,7,-11,12{Satan cast down, he has a short time}; Michael Jude 9; contends with Satan and the word is to spread around the earth that Satan is coming to and end with his world Matt.124:3,7,14,15,22,36[Only LORD God knows the day and hour but the bible gives Satan 6130 years from Eden]; Jesus will reign Rev.20:1-6; 1000 years ending 49,000 years since the angels Job. 38:4-7; saw the foundation of the earth laid, Luke 20:34-36[angels do not die]; John 17:3,5,24; Jesus was with God before the world was. we are 6,072 after Eden.

To find America in Revelation, you must look in Chapter 13 where you find two beasts rising. The first beast has 7 heads and 10 horns with crowns rising up out of the sea. This beast is the AntiChrist power. Because you did not ask about the AntiChrist, I will not explain who this beast is except to say that a beast in Bible prophecy represents a kingdom, not an individual.

Reference: Daniel 7:23 The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth.

The sea that the first beast rose out of represents people, nations and tongues. Water in Bible prophecy represents people. Therefore, this first beast or kingdom arose in a populated area.

Reference: Revelation 17:5 The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

The second beast is a lamblike power, that rose out of the dry ground. It had two horns with no crowns and it spoke like dragon. It was a very powerful nation, in fact the most powerful nation at end times, because it enforced the mark of the first beast upon the whole world.

This second power is different from the first power. It arose out of dry ground, thus in an unpopulated area. There are no crowns on the horns, thus no kings. It is the most powerful nation on the earth in end times. I believe with all the signs of the times happening around us, that most will agree, we are living in the end times. It started out as a Christian Nation, built upon Christian principles of freedom of religion, and democracy. But it changed in character into a dragon-like nation, turning from it's Christian roots and using force, even death to achieve it's goals of world domination. It makes an alliance with the first beast to seek to control the world.

Sadly, this second beast is the United States of America, the false prophet of Revelation 16:13 and 19:20, uniting with the AntiChrist power against God's people in end times.

Perhaps at another time, when the question arises as to the identity of the AntiChrist power, I will get the opportunity to unmask this power as well.

Do you mean, where is America on the Revelation timeline? Nowhere, yet. Although we're probably getting close to something. If you want, you can check out http://www.leftbehind.com I haven't been to the site in a while, but I'm sure you'll find something there. Good question though. I've been wondering about it, myself.

It doesn't any more than the rest of the world. You do realize that revelations was all a dream, don't you? up until the new world translation the writer said "I had a dream." kind of crazy that they claim it is the most accurate version of the bible, but they leave out that most important sentence of the whole scripture.

I feel in my own heart that it doesn't. I feel that America is shaming our Lord God. I love America, but America is not mentioned in the Bible. I know many will join him when the rapture takes place, but no where is America mentioned in the Bible in revelations

I personally believe America is the Great Prostitute....she claims to be under God yet doesnt allow Him in the public... she claims riches and blessings given to her from God yet freely gives them to other countries... She boasts religious freedom, even if the religion you want to practice here believes America is the Great Satan and needs to be destroyed.
