Because those people that deny the real present of Christ in the Eucharist is either ignorant or misguided. Even the early Church Fathers awknowledge the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. A few examples as follows:
Justin Martyr
"We call this food Eucharist, and no one else is permitted to partake of it, except one who believes our teaching to be true and who has been washed in the washing which is for the remission of sins and for regeneration [i.e., has received baptism] and is thereby living as Christ enjoined. For not as common bread nor common drink do we receive these; but since Jesus Christ our Savior was made incarnate by the word of God and had both flesh and blood for our salvation, so too, as we have been taught, the food which has been made into the Eucharist by the Eucharistic prayer set down by him, and by the change of which our blood and flesh is nurtured, is both the flesh and the blood of that incarnated Jesus" (First Apology 66 [A.D. 151]).
Irenaeus
"If the Lord were from other than the Father, how could he rightly take bread, which is of the same creation as our own, and confess it to be his body and affirm that the mixture in the cup is his blood?" (Against Heresies 4:33–32 [A.D. 189]).
"He has declared the cup, a part of creation, to be his own blood, from which he causes our blood to flow; and the bread, a part of creation, he has established as his own body, from which he gives increase unto our bodies. When, therefore, the mixed cup [wine and water] and the baked bread receives the Word of God and becomes the Eucharist, the body of Christ, and from these the substance of our flesh is increased and supported, how can they say that the flesh is not capable of receiving the gift of God, which is eternal life—flesh which is nourished by the body and blood of the Lord, and is in fact a member of him?" (ibid., 5:2).
Cyril of Jerusalem
"The bread and the wine of the Eucharist before the holy invocation of the adorable Trinity were simple bread and wine, but the invocation having been made, the bread becomes the body of Christ and the wine the blood of Christ" (Catechetical Lectures 19:7 [A.D. 350]).

I would be interested to know which Christian denominations deny that Christ is present in the Communion. That would be a complete contradiction of one of the basic beliefs of a Christian.
Are you asking why Protestants do not believe, as the Catholics do; that the bread and wine actually are transformed into REAL blood and REAL body?
If that is what you meant, the answer is because the Bible states that Jesus used the bread and wine as a symbol of his death, and that he used them to explain to the disciples why he would be dying, what his death would mean, and to ask them to remember Him each time they met and broke bread together.

The argument on Transubstantiation (bread and wine changing into the body and blood of Christ) peaked in the 6th Century AD when there was a split in the leading Churches.
This subject again was one of the key points of contention raised during the Reformation movement (early 16th century) by Martin Luther (in protest against the many wrongs of the then leaders of the Catholic Church) which then became the foundation of the mainstream Protestant and other denominational and non-denominational Churches which continued with this difference in opinion on the true presense of the flesh and blood of Christ in the Eucharist.

i think some denominations take Jesus' words as strictly symbolic that the bread "is his body" and the wine "is his blood". I would guess that it comes from a pendulum swing away from the Catholic belief that the bread and wine become Christ's literal body and blood when they enter your body.
We Lutherans are right in the middle - we see communion as a symbol of his sacrifice, and also as the great feast where Christ's presence unites all believers through the sacrament.

Ah! Another false RC teaching.
If a magician does a trick and nothing happens, you would expose him as a fraud. Yet you put your Rc priests on pedestals and say that they are greater than God, and Jesus has to obey them by coming down from Heaven into a piece of bread! If you actually THINK and question this teaching, you will find it is NOT scrpitural. The bread and wine are symbolic of the body and blood of Christ. Remember Jesus took the cup and said, "This is my blood", was the cup His blood? No it was a cup!
Read the scriptures, that is where you will find the truth and NOT the constant lies of RC teaching.
Christ died once for all, not continually, that teaching is blastphomy!

The Catholic Church is the only Church wherein the wine in consecrated and turns into the useful Blood. it is as much as each and each parish in the event that they decide for to furnish the Eucharist decrease than the two species or basically the single. it is no longer mandatory to get carry of the two because of the fact the physique of Christ, is one the two physique and Blood. So once you get carry of the physique your get carry of the Blood and vice versa. My parish can provide the two. some do no longer. yet you will no longer discover the different denomination (different than Orthodox) that has the valid Apostolic succession to consecrate the wine so as that it turns into the actual Blood of Christ. EDIT - believing that communion is the physique and Blood of Christ would not make it so. purely the Catholic and Orthodox Church have the Apostolic succession.

We deny this unBiblical doctrine because the wine and wafers do not become the body of Jesus Christ.

I have never heard of this before. it could be that some of these denominations choose not to believe it happened and want their people to go by what they are saying.
