*raises one hand, thinks a moment, and raises them both REALLY REALLY REALLY high*
Oh, me, me, me!
Okay, now that I'm done acting like a first-grader, I'll say that ever single over-zealous and insulting Christian I have ever heard from or met has annoyed me within one minute of a religious conversation. I have had conversations with Christians who listened respectfully, even if they didn't agree with me, and then there are the "other ones." Oh, goodness, they make me want to do violent things sometimes, and I'm not normally a violent person. I think there was a question recently about turning them into toads...oh, if only I could. At least close their mouths shut for good with magic or something. I know I WOULDN'T, but oh, how I wish it was possible. If it was, I'd probably let the spell go as soon as I was out of ear-shot/sight.

I'm very much like RxQueen. I used to practice witchcraft. And yes I was very offended by Christians and wasn't open to listening to their preaching. And yes I often joked about Jesus in a way that was really insulting, don't think I wanna mention.
But, I think accepting Jesus is a very personal choice and it shouldn't be forced. That was what I learnt. I was converted because of my own choice, all the Christians around me did was just to share the Gospel, and that was all their job is, the rest God will handle it. The Christians who helped me in my conversion was not pushy at all and they were really gentle. I actually saw some kinda aura in them, like a window to Jesus Christ. Many times I actually felt God's presence within my heart which I have never felt as a pagan. Because God appeared to be so real to me, I gave up everything pagan from spells to tarot to ouija or whatever. God is just so real than all those crappy witchcraft thing.
That's my own personal testimony, my conversion is really the turning point in my life. Since I was once offended before I was Christian, I think the main reason people get offended is because people naturally don't like being forced into something and therefore their minds are closed to listening to anything, even something good. Therefore they don't usually see the whole picture and they don't understand everything. Because, for someone who has understood the full picture of the gift of salvation and having felt God's presence, being offended is really too far of an issue compared to how great God is.

Not many people in my real life know I'm Wiccan. They just know me as the non-church goer. I get told all the time that going to church would be great for me, being a young mother and wife. Me and the husband could meet and mingle with other couples, the boy could go to Sunday School, yadda, yadda, yadda. I just smile and tell them no thank you. I live in Alabama, and knowing how the local Christians are I'm not ready for the onslaught that would come by way of over-zealous Christians.
So, yeah, I get offended when other people try to force religion on me, but it's a quiet internal brewing that I do, way at the back of the broom closet!

When I was a Pagan, I was never offended by Christians that preached to me. I knew that they ment well but I ignored their teachings. I never really let it bother me that much. I even collected tracts because I thought they were funny.
I am a Christian now, and I was not converted by preachy Christians. I Converted for myself, because I opened my own heart and listened to the message of Jesus. I read those tracts when I was a Pagan, and even listened to those preachers before and their pushy techniques dident work. I came to the Lord on my own years later.
If those pushy Christians would back off sometimes and show how wonderful Jesus is instead of forcing religion, possibly more people would open their heart to Jesus. ( rather than running away)

I don't find it offensive at all. Being offended by the thoughts of others is a form of primitivism. Wild animals threaten each other by showing teeth and making scary sounds. Intelligent humans should question and debate peacefully. So, I'm not offended to see teeth, I'm most amused.

I am never offended when people offer thier religion to me with sincerity. I often invite Jehova Witnessess in to chat, and we read form the bible for hours... they ask me my beliefs & when i tell them, they are in shock... I am a Germanic Heathen and work with my ancestors as well as the gods of the germanic patheon, I follow the nine noble virtues of asatru, one of those nine being hospitality, i feel as i am honor bound to respect those who come to my door, i offer them a drink, listen to thier shpeel, tell them my views, if they ask to come back, i usually decline, as i am not interested in joining thier faith. The moromon missionaries are quick because they ask you your beliefs first, and they are really good about "dusting off thier sandals & moving on" I am never offended by a difference in opinion, or a difference in conviction, when offered sincerly. I feel blessed that people are out there honestly concerend for the well being of my immortal soul! But having experienced what it is like to be in the presence of the mighty ones, i have no worries abotu my souls well being... i will be well taken care of! I am well over the persecution complex that comes with many who are new to paganism...

Christians themselves don't offend me but when they try to force their beliefs on me or try to convert me and don't take no for an answer I get irritated. When they go on one of their rants against other religions or are downright hateful about some things then I get offended.

I am only offended by them if they take a nasty tone and/or action on my beliefs. I feel that things should be "Live and let live" untill they get on my case about my beliefs. Then it is more along the lines of "poisoned tounge"

Well, minor things happen to us now.
Christianity was establish killing whomever was not accepting it! Don't forget that all Roman Emperors, except Julian, from the 4th to the 15th century were exterminating anyone (except the Jews) who was not Christian!
