Walmart you can get cheap paint about ten bucks a gallon. They sell the better brand for about double that price, but its guaranteed to be one coat, and really is worth the extra money. If you go to a paint specially shop you can really spend big bucks.
Brushes- cheap are around 2 bucks and the same with the rollers... can also find cheap pan at dollar store for a buck.
Small bedroom..really need the size to know. Start off with one or two gallons. One gallon if really small. Make sure to save the color numbers just in case you need to buy more.
Brushes can get really expesive, rollers and pans too. If you have lots to paint, then get the better pan. Some of those cheap rollers don't give even coverage.
You can ask the paint specialist for more advice on which brands are the better, and which you can get away with for 'cheaper'.

A gallon can cost anywhere from $9-$15. How much depends on what color you're painting and what color you're painting over. If it's a dark color, you'll need more coats. Also, if it's something like red, you might start out with tinted primer to use less coats. Ask the guys at the counter at the Home Depot or Lowes. After you pick the color and type (eggshell, semi-gloss, ...), they'll tell you how much you need.

12-32 bucks a gallon depending on the brand and type of paint, most people paint with semi-gloss latex based paint for bedrooms of which is usually around 15 bucks a gallon, and depending on the size of your bedroom, it may take 2 gallons to complete the job, and you can count on additional cost for painting accessories costing anywhere from 15-30 bucks.

a gallon of paint can range anywhere from around 25 to 50 dollars depending on the quality of the paint and if you apply some sort of discount which is usually very easily accessible.
Best place to ask these questions are your local paint supply store (general paint, benjamin moore, etc.) they are extremely helpful in all aspects of a paint project.
The number of gallons it takes depends entirely on how many coats you will be applying (you must have a colour in mind first to determine how many coats you will need: more vibrant = more coats)
Extra's will cost you around $20 - $30.
Hint: instead of buying an extension pole for your roller you can usually unscrew the extension on your home mop/broom.
Good luck.

You can get cheap paint for $7 a gallon at walmart or you can also get $20 a gallon there also. Go with the more expensive one it covers better and you only have to use one coat.
