da vinci code, homosexuality/love, attack on the natural family, any religious symbols on display, education, you name it. If the secular lberalists and atheists continue their assault and we don't fight back, underground will be the only place to say God without being thrown in jail.

I think there are 2 issue facing christianity right now. The first is the fact that people want more than christian churches are ready to give. People want more, better answers than the standare "God made it so" response to their questions about life and the world around them.
The second is the fundamentalist groups pushing for more power in politics and society. Like any fundamentalist group, they can't(or wont) understand that everyone doesn't have the same fervent belief thatt he bible is the exact word of God, and want everyone else chastised and punished as if we were wayward children who aren't capable of making any decision without their help.
Until christian leaders are ready to deal with these two issues, nothing is going to get better, in fact things will only get worse.

Priests not being able to marry! That's not even tradition. That all started about 400 years ago... not when Christianity was started. It's keeping guys from becomeing priests.

The same issues it's always faced, whether its real or not, whether it works or not, whether it makes a person happy or not, whether it brings a person fear or not. Unfortunately most people go with their emotions , rather than answer these all-important questions.

The same ol’, same old. Life and death. What constitutes Life and how do get it, keep it and use it to the Glory of God and what is death, and how can we avoid it, overcome it and conquer it to the Glory of God? Everything else is just commentary.

hmmm, pretty broad question.
Is 'belief' a voluntary thing? Can a person "choose to believe" and in so doing, be honest with him/her-self?
Is it more important to "fit in" with the group than it is to be honest with ones self?
does it get you thru the night?
