Bunt, why do you 'deserve' something people following the law are waiting in line for years to get?
We subsidize poor immigrants even if they pay all income and property taxes, because the middle and higher income people in this country subsidize education, health care, etc for the poorer people.
That is a great deal for poor immigrants and is both why we need to limit those we take in and why the line is so long. You have no 'right' whatsoever to jump the line or steal services paid for by others for the benefit of people legally here.

I think it would be wrong of us to deport those who have a family and family roots here. I however do think that for those people who have family, they need to start paying taxes and learn the english language and if they don't, then they need to get deported.

Do u mean those immigrants who came in the last 10 years or the people who came here 100 years back and their children? I think this country would become empty if u were to do that.

It makes me sad to see so much venom is this election year blahblahblah. How many of you who shout deport them would like to weed the strawberry fields, clean the hotel rooms etc.?

deporting every one would be a loss to the economy....
that's stupid.
those people aren't bad people...they are just trying to make a living so they can support themselves and not die from lack of food/water/basic essentials for life...and they shouldn't be punished for that...

I've been paying taxes, came on a visa and don't intend to leave until you laws start welcoming immigrants again. I deserve a legal status and will get it, whether you like it or not!
