Because they're humans, nothing more, like everyone else.

well maybe it maybe that it is only the person that you are challenging that is angry. Or it could be that they don't know enough to answer your question and answer in that way. And no God is not revengeful, but he is forgiven, patient and most of all full of Love for every single one of us. There are many religious people that show the God is kind and forgiving. For example my church, first time I went there I was received with smiles, welcomes. I felt a sense of belonging.

It depends on how you ask your questions. If you ask your questions respectfully, then most of the time you will get a polite and respectful answer (most of the time). If you ask your questions in a disrespectful, rude, or condescending manner, you will anger those whom you are questioning.

So many people ask questions about religions other than theirs in such a way that they ridicule other religions. Just look at some of the other questions posted here, and you will see that NO religion is spared.

Right, but not like the abuse heaped upon them. There was one question here that asked if it would be alright to hit a Christian simply because they were saying things like "We're praying for you." I was standing in an antiabortion protest, simply holding a non-threatening sign, saying nothing. Abortionist antiprotesters were standing by, I heard one saying, "We ought to round them all up on an island and nuke it." Those gentle souls were cussing us out and throwing stuff. Sure there are extremists and zealots, but the religious folk don't hold a monopoly on that behavior, not anywhere close. Look again.

Because they don't have the patients of Saints . They get really tired of dealing with sinners like my self and Idiots that think man kind was created by chance . If some one walked up to you and said they are going to hit you, you would defend your self . Same with religious people. If you walk up and challenge their religion they are going to defend it .

You are talking about people that are religious but are either not smart enough or knowledgable about their religion to win a debate with you. Challenge a good priest. My preist has multiple PhD's and wins even the toughest challenges to Catholicism.

It has something to do with frustration. People challenge their ideas (threaten to burst their bubble) and they see the problem, so attack is the best defense. But it's their own fault for placing faith in dogmas. Do you see pagans having fits and sending people to hell? No, because they are sensible and reasonable.
