First of all, they are risking their lives every day to save others, regardless of the risk to themselves. This takes guts, and puts them in the same category as police officers, guys in the military, and similar types. They also have to be in pretty good shape to be a firefighter, which makes them even more appealing. Most are humble, although many are not. They also look great in those cute firefighter pants, and they have a cute dog. And if your smoke detector starts beeping, they will change the batteries.

Women require one thing from a man, Protection, this is a primary program for females to want their mate to protect them. The first basic protection is Physical, a man who can bravely protect them is hard wired into their reproduction programming.
The second is emotional protection, women want men who will hold them when they are scared and sad. They want men to take control when they have lost their bearings.
The third, but not least, if financial protection, which some women say doesn't matter, but the more intelligent ones will not deny that it does matter for a successful rearing of children in modern day.
Men require one thing from women, total respect. Firemen will get it because women respect a man who can fill her needs.

I think that they are sexy. Why?? becuz there in shape to do anything. And some even have six packs. I love six packs!
and they have long hoses if you know what I mean? Plus they are everyday heros, so he can protect me. I could go on 4ever but...!

I think it is sort of a "real-life hero" thing. It can be attractive, especially when many men don't take any sort of lead there are firefighters taking a lead and saving lives.

Some women have whats called a "hero complex" that makes men in uniform seem more attractive to them. Its a superficial attraction that usually dies when they realize that men in uniform does not always mean that they are better men. I guess you could say the reverse is men who are attracted to only women who are or could be models. . . just as superficial.
