Uh Dude, It's not like you are going to pick up chicks or rekindle the relationship with your ex-wife. So, for the sake of keeping some peace between her relatives and you, I would strongly suggest that she takes a day to herself and you go alone. As for introduction to the kids, take it slow, real slow, you even might want to do some Dad and Kids counseling with a professional before you try (in the kids eyes) replace Mommy. Sorry to be so gruff. My condolences on your lose. Best of Luck.

Dude, are u re-tarted how dare u take you're girlfriend to you're wife's "viewing".It's been 4 years since my mom died an I'm still not cool with my dad dating! SO make Sure with you're kids it's cool with them u date if it's not than put their needs first and dump you're girlfriend!!! It's called being a good father come on man u should know it would probably hurt you're kids!!And how can u possibly be thinking of dating when you're wife just died???

NO!

You have PROBLEMS!!! Why do you have a girlfriend when your wife JUST DIED OR IS ABOUT TO?!?!?!?

And you're VERY inconsiderate! What will your wife's friends and family think? What will YOUR family think? And do you REALLY expect your kids to RESPECT you if you do that?

LEAVE her at HOME! She has NO right to be anywhere NEAR your wife! And neither do you!

AT LEAST give your children time to GRIEVE before you introduce them to this person. And you GIVE them ALL THE TIME THEY NEED! They won't get over this as fast as you. GIVE THEM TIME, and KEEP HER AWAY UNTIL THEY'RE READY!

Since you're looking for a reaction I'll play along.

Bring your girlfriend to the viewing, the service and the grave sight. And why waste time. Introduce your girl today. The kids will have someone to share their feelings with.

Ummm, no. It will be kinda of unappropriate to do that especially since her family and children are going to be there. So that is a definite no. As to introducing her to your children... you have to give them some time to mourn the death of their mother, you cannot simply just introduce your girlfriend to them like now. Give it some time, around 3 months or something. Think of your childrens emotions first.

Yeah that's a great idea. Make your wife's funeral a date for you and your mistress. And while your at it your can tell you kids "I know you mom just died, but I have new one all lined up. I was sleeping with her while mommy was dying" I'm sure that will make then feel better. (sarcasm)

You are a horrible person.

no its not right at all! And its way to early to introduce her to your children! For heavens sake, their mother just died and you want to bring a new woman around? That should be at the very least, 6 months in the future!

NO and your wife's funeral is certainly not the place for introductions of your girlfriend - why even ask this question - your girlfriend has no place at this gathering

Did you kill ur wife? I sure hope you and your wife were separated. If not you need help. If ur wife didn't know u had a girlfriend that is just disrespectful to her and everyone.

That is a serious lack of class on your part. Your wife isn't even buried and you already have a girlfriend and you want to introduce her to your children? Man, you are one cold, cold dude.
