NONSENSE - in the fermentation/distillation process sugar is converted to alcohol by yeast. There is no sugar left over when rum is made. Sugar is a carbohydrate; check my reference link to see that ther are NO CARBS in rum.

Any form of alcohol has sugars in it. So yes Bacardi Rum has sugar. Alcohol is formed by fermented sugars.

Bacardi is rum and rum is made from sugar cane...so the answer to your question is...yes. As a matter of fact, rum has probably got more sugar in it than most other liquors.

Not technically. Rum is made from sugar cane, but the sugar is distilled out of it. If you have more quesions about what different alcohols are made from, check out the Bartender's Black Book. It's really interesting, and there are tons of recipes in it too.
