Chances are: after 6 months, your car won't be recovered. I've had 4 cars stolen during my life, 2 in front of my house in Chicago, Illinois, and 2 in Mexico. All were locked with anti theft devices on them, and I reported them to the police every time, but to no avail. Three were Volkswagen models that were very popular, and I'm sure they were chopped up for parts. So you have my sympathy, I do so understand!

IF the police avenue has not helped, maybe check the local DMV and see if the car has had a new title issued. That may help.
Another is get two or three "non-desirables" and tell them you have about $100-300 reward just for them to locate and give you the location of your car. Tell them the first one who comes with the information gets the reward. That is just INFORMATION. Then you go and allow the local authorities to handle it for you. People do similar for lost pets.
THESE are only suggestions....

Sorry about your car.... After 6 months I'd think its gone and you should move on! One thing I should point out though.... Whatever the situation was prior to that happening had a lot to do with YOU! Most often, things like that happen because people are careless and open themselves up to becoming targets! Good luck!

Ummm? its its been stolen for 6 months i doubt youre going to able to get it back. Best bets are if the person was stupid enough to leave the license plate on it, give it to the police and they can tag the number and find it

Report your stolen car to the police and inform them the details (where you lost it, when, etc.) Despite the slim chance in getting it back, you should just try!! Good luck!

If your car was equiped with onstar, they would find it for you. Other wise, report it to the athorties and let them look for it. Untfortuately, you may find only parts of it, depending on the make and model, and the situation of your stolen car.

First, report it to the police. Then, give announcements whomever can tell you the whereabouts of your car, you'll give a reward. I 'm sure the thieves would also hurriedly notify you then.
