You people are truly misguided, if Korea is looking for nukes and long ranges missiles , it is because of a global arm race that include the US.. it perceive the US as a threats..
before you talk , you should evaluate the bliX report on WMD , it basically say that the US is directly responsible for a global arm race....and see the recommendations,,
Blix report available below..
http://www.wmdcommission.org/files/Weapons_of_Terror.pdf
The US should lead example by getting ride of nuclear weapons..
see what american Noam Chomsky say on the importance of disarmement..

Abide by international law, which is exactly what they intend to do.
The missile will be tracked by radar from many sources (Japanese and U.S. naval ships) and also from satellite. If it is found to be on a trajectory that is threatening to the U.S. in any way, the government has the right legally to attempt to shoot it down. Even then, I doubt that there will be any kind of immediate response to avoid setting off a conflict.
Instead, the issue will definitely be brought up at the U.N., and N. Korea would have successfully isolated itself even more (right when it seemed like they were making a bit of progress in the right direction).

The US has deployed a number of ships into North Korean waters. If the missile is launched, it will be shot down. This demonstrates a number of things. First, the US is quite able to defend itself against a nuclear missile attack. Second, we won't tolerate a violation of the ban on such missiles. And last, we will respond to acts of war.

Personally, I think it should just shoot it down. Once we show them that they can not provoke us with Missiles, it would also show China that we can not be provoked with Missiles.
After words, there needs to be a UN sanction to appease the Liberals and if that fails, then military action of some sort. Government needs to be changed just for the civilians that live there.

The USA should do to korea exactly what it did to the USSR. We should aim a few hundred nuke missles at N. Korea and tell them. We are headed for another cold war boys and girls. N. Korea and Iran, this time.

Obliterate the missile. This NK regime is very dangerous. It is possible they would try and do damage to the Western US. The rouge states in the world only respond to power. We possess the power. It is our manifest destiny to use that power to preserve peace, IMO.

Start WWIII. It's time to eliminate the moronic human race. We all need to be roasted in nuclear fire. It's time. The cockroaches can dance their little dance around our burning carcasses and the world can start anew.
