The problem with treatment is only if you get meds or treatments that are not compatible with each other. However, with being bipolar you need to make up your mind to seek medical assistance and to be consistent with what they tell you to do. Also, you should research proper diet as to what will keep your body the healthiest the longest. Avoid alchohol and non-prescribed drugs.

NO A very good friend of mine was in the same boat. If you try the treatment for Hep C be sure to get the one that includes interferon. I can't remember the name but the benefits are much greater than the risks. She has been in remission for about 9 years now. She also takes meds for bi-polar. I also agree with perfectiming1. You have to be very closely monitored. Good Luck

i have hep c and the doc says its dormant. i am not bipolar but i don't believe that they're even closely related. i know a few people that live with being bipolar and it's alltogether different. hepc has to do with the liver. bipolar has to do with with the psyche. many people who have hepc do'nt know how they got it. some say it's life style as in gay sex or using needles. anyway there is a treatment that is being offered. you would have to check on that. sorry, i hope i could be of some help,

If you plan on taking alpha 2a or b treatment which is used if you catch it early this treatment will cause dangerous depression most people attemt to kill themselves and more than half get off of it so they dont kill themselves. If you can hold out for like a year without killing your self then youll be fine. I dont know how it will react with whatever bi polar treatment your on. I dont take my bi polar medicine but ask your dactor about it.

SPELLING!!!!!!!!

Probably not but IF you have any insurance (of any type) in force, be sure that you keep those premiums paid. With EITHER of those two disorders, you will NEVER get approved for any new policies again, unless it is a group policy through a new job. And maybe not then.
