Is it bad or wrong to clean a shotgun when my 15 yr old daughter's boyfriend comes over??

Im in the military so I think I can handle a gun.And my daughter isn't dating him(can't till she is 16(or 30..I havn't decided yet)anyway..I trust her it's just the"Im 15 and I know everything attitude that worries me.

I think it is a good idea-----in fact, we have 4 girls, and my husband is an officer, he plans on being in uniform, and taking them for a tour of the prison facilities to make sure they understand that we have a 'no touch' policy for our daughters!!!!! Protective dads are the best :)

I think perhaps you are overreacting. Your daughter is dating, and will date in the future. She will go out with boys. You can't shoot all of them. ^_~ The better plan is to talk to her about being responsible, and to get to know the boyfriend and subtly intimidate him if need be. ^_~ good luck.

HAHAHAHA!! That is too funny. . . and no it's not. It is your house and if he thinks he wants to be around for a while he has to get used to seeing you do all kinds of things. Just remember that you can look at him and grin evily while you are doing it and tell him how good your aim is.

Bad.First of all, it can be dangerous.If your trying to scare the boy, talk to him.Tell him what you expect from him as afr as your daughter goes.Let him know if there are problems that you will go to his parents....dont scare the poor boy to death.

no its not wrong... My stepdad did it when our friends stopped over. We are a family of 4 girls and he was a cop.
