The word "strong" is relative. I fear most that China will align with North Korea on any action that that the U. S. might take. China seems to be irrational, and I agree with you, scary.

China is one of the allies and I don't think China likes N. Korea either. Strong neighbor is always a threat to him.

Not nearly strong enough. Their allies do not want a war with US & it is believed that they will not come to their aid.

China and they aren't really thrilled with the North Koreans because they are causing regional instability.
