I am not sure this is what you are asking for, but this is a cake that i have had in Italian bakeries: it's called Strawberry Torte here is a recipe for it: hope this helps!
INGREDIENTS:
11 ounces cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 pint heavy whipping cream
2 (12 ounce) packages ladyfinger cookies
1 (16 ounce) package frozen strawberries
1 tablespoon cornstarch
DIRECTIONS:
Strain strawberries and set aside, reserving juices. In a saucepan bring cornstarch and strawberry juice to a gentle boil. Remove from heat and let cool.
Whip cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla together.
In a separate bowl beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture.
Arrange ladyfingers around sides and bottom of the 8 or 9 inch springform pan, standing ladyfingers lengthwise around sides of pan. Pour 1/2 of the filling into the pan, then place a layer of ladyfingers on top of filling. Pour remaining filling over ladyfingers.
Spread strawberry sauce over top of cake and place the whole strawberries on top. Refrigerate and remove from pan once thoroughly chilled.
*Note: You can decorate and cover the lady fingers with whip cream and then decorate with stawberries

Yikes! This is a tough one because so many bakeries guard their recipes...ESPECIALLY this one!!
Here's what the best bakery (for special occasion cakes--wedding etc) in MY neck of the woods (MN) has on their web site:
Souffle Wedding Cake
As light and sweet as whispering an I do. Three layers of genoise (egg-rich sponge cake) filled with two thick layers of Bavarian cream to produce a five layer torte for each tier. Popular flavors include: lemon, strawberry, raspberry, amaretto, chocolate and grasshopper.
YUMMY! (First link is to the bakery's web site.)
Here's the only recipe I could find that sort of comes close to what you want (second link)
Frozen Strawberry Mousse Cake
Ingredients
15oz can strawberries in syrup
1 tbsp powdered gelatin
6 trifle sponge cakes
3 tbsp strawberry conserve
scant 1 cup crème fraiche
scant 1 cup whipped cram, to decorate
Method:
1.Strain the syrup from the strawberries into a large heatproof jug. Sprinkle over the gelatin and stir well. Stand the jug in a saucepan of hot water and stir until the gelatin has dissolved.
2. Leave to cool, the chill in the fridge for just under 1 hour, until beginning to set. Meanwhile, cut the sponge cake in half lengthways and then spread the cut surfaces evenly with the strawberry conserve.
3. Slowly whisk the crème fraiche into the strawberry jelly, then whisk in the canned strawberries. Line a deep 20cm/8in loose-based cake tin with non-stick baking paper.
4. Pour half the strawberry mousse mixture into the tin, arrange the sponge cakes over the surface and then spoon over the remaining mousse mixture, pushing down any sponge cakes which rise up.
5. Freeze for 1-2 hours until firm. Unmould the cake and carefully remove the lining paper. Transfer to a serving plate. Decorate with whirls of cram, a few strawberry leaves and a fresh strawberry, if you have them.
Happy hunting!

INGREDIENTS:
2 3/4 cups cake flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups white sugar
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored gelatin
1 cup butter, softened
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup strawberries, pureed
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
4 cups confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups quartered strawberries
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour three 9 inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, beat sugar, gelatin and butter until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Mix flour and baking powder, and beat alternately with the milk into the sugar mixture. Fold in 1 teaspoon vanilla and pureed strawberries. Divide equally into three 9 inch round cake pans.
Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pans, then remove from pans and cool completely.
To make the filling: Beat whipping cream, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla on high until stiff. Fill each layer with 1/3 of the whipped cream and 3/4 cup sliced strawberries.
To make the frosting: Beat the margarine, cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Spread over the sides of the cake, and pipe an edge of frosting around the top of the cake.
Spread remaining whipped cream on cake top. Top with quartered strawberries.
