The belief is something that cannot be explained in a way as to make other people understand it. It is very personal.
Nevertheless, I shall try:
I know the story of the Holy Shroud that was used to wrap Jesus' body. It has been studied for a century and, even if it is not possible to say that it was Jesus' body that was covered with it, the coincidences are too many to not to think that something must be there.
In second place, we have the tilma of the Indian Juan Diego, where we can see ( with a microscope ) the image of the Indian and the bishop of Mexico in the pupil of the Virgin. The technology to do it did not exist at the XVI century.
Besides, we have the miracles of Lourdes and Fatima

I believe in God more firmly than I believe in anything else. Darwin himself accepted Christ on his deathbed. Modern science tears the theory of evolution into little, tiny peices.
Darwin said that if it could be proven living matter was more compleax than he has hypothesized in his research, then his theory would fall apart. Well, we now know that, down to each tiny, encoded strand of DNA, we are extremely complex creatures. Irreducibly complex. That means, life is interwoven by so many different peices working together, that one could not survive without the other pieces. Like the human eye. Thousands of parts work together to enable us to see. Whay would the body have evolved 999 or even 1 of those parts if it had no purpose witout all of them? There was obviously an intelligent designer.
Also, consistent with evolutionists' theories, the earth's crust should be loaded with fossils of the different steps of evolution. But what do we have? A few hoaxes, all of them disproved.
There is so much evidence, I can't even begin to touch it, but here are some great books.
The Case For A Creator, by Lee Strobel
Darwin's Black Box, Michael Behe
There is indeed a God, and you need look no further than Jesus Christ. Hope you find the peace you're looking for!

I do believe in God. The way I know if He exists is first due to many research and experimenting. I found a good Church, I read the bible like I read a novel (continuously day and night), and I pray alot. I asked God if He is real that He will let me understand. I have found many of my prayers were answered, I am more patient and understanding in dealing with problems, sometimes during Praise and Worship, I could feel the Holy Spirit's presence. Really. It made you almost cry for joy. Anyway, that's my experience. All I can tell you that He's much closer than you think He is. He is afterall the Spirit of love, peace, and kindness.

God. Goddess. The Great Spirit. The Buddha Consciousness. Jesus. The Force. Whatever the name, the idea remains. That we are more than the sum of our parts. This has been a thought since the beginning of time. When humankind sought for something more than what was seen.

When I was a child, I was told about God. And I took my parents' word for it. When I was an adolescent, I questioned. While I could accept that there was a Godhead, this Trinity thing really bothered me.

I went through my 20's going to church but never really feeling it. I would pray but only when things were hard or difficult.

I did not know God.

When I was divorcing, I fell to pieces. And I had to learn how to be humble. And I had to learn how to accept that I wasn't a superwoman, after all. I was frail. And I could be so badly hurt that it took years to find the shards and piece them back together. During these dark hours, I would weep and cry and ask 'why me."

Then, one day, deep in prayer, I felt a touch. A wonderful touch that felt like a electric caress that started on my scalp and flashed down my body. Just for a second. But it was glorious. And in that moment, I knew.

Since that day, my world has been different. I feel God in every moment. I do not need to speak about God constantly. And I feel that those who put on robes of religious right are actually (probably) more holier than thou than actually holy. But I feel God. And I do my best to do my best in every thing.

And when I do, I feel that feeling again. And I know...

Yes. Because common sense will tell you how can something be made from something without having first been made from nothing and if there was nothing from the beginning then something came from it because of God. Existence (for ex: the cosmos, life, the universe) can't just appear without a source. Everything has to start from something. Also every lifeform has a blueprint (DNA) for their existence and a blueprint can't just appear or be made without an engineer or an intelligent being/creator and that can only lead to a supernatural being which is God.

I have heard of him ,didn't he use to go by the name Opie Taylor and play on the Andy Griffith Show or something ?I have seen him so I know he exists at least on TV but that doesn't prove hes real with all the technology out there who knows he might just be the Anti Christ,... Opie did get into lots of mischief on that show. He kept Andy in a bad mood so I'm not really sure if hes real or just a pretend TV hoax ?

I believe there is an Intelligent Energy that created this universe, that is this universe and all that it contains. Whether you choose to call that God, Life, Spirit or something entirely different does not matter. There is definitely an order to things and a design of perfection in all things. I experience the connection to others and to all that surrounds me and this is how I know it exists. There is a design to all that has been set in motion and we are all a part of that design.

Yes I beleive in God! Completly. I know God exists because He is present in everything I do and say. I feel His presence in my life as each day passes. Sometimes I will admit it is hard, knowing that My God knows whats to become of me, and I dont. Its hard to just let God take the wheel and be a passenger, along for the ride. But I trust in His plan. I know that God would never put me into a position that I cant get out of and with that i place myself for Him to use me as an instument in His love.
