They have a chick and I donn't know if I shoul separate them since they both feed the chick. The female is very agresive and seems to be hurting the male to the point of taking away the plumage of his head. What am I to do about this?????

Never put baseball players in cages. Even if they're women.

If neither bird is attacking the chick, I wouldn't worry too much. If there is an exotic animal vet in your area, I would call them. If the female's aggression doesn't get better in a day or two, I would seperate them.

Oh, yes, take him out. She's only got room for one right now. The birds are social creatures, so don't move them far apart, but they aren't like humans, she won't be receptive to him until next year when she's ready to mate again.
