Almost all the webpage say stuff and comments all is good. They wont really tell u whats the disadvantages of using it. You have to try out yourself and experiencing the reality of the new windows.

Whether can use flash drive as RAM memory, we still duno whether its works or dont works. But something sure here is, the transfer speed for a flash is slower than a virtual memory(hardisk). I rather manualli set more virtual memory than juz using a flsh drive.

Trials means testing, u can try and use it but no guarantee all the application will works fine, there need to be update and upgrade. Windows Vista, the beta version basically beta version means testing or evaluation about the operating system, not the actual Windows Vista yet. Once the testing period is over, the beta version will gone and a new windows vista will be release, that will guarantee user a more stability operating system platform as well as high performances of the system software.

Hmm...seems you haven't done anymore reading on Vista than the surface...Vista "Beta"2 is exactly as it states...It's for testing only...and there's many, many programs that it won't work with at the present time...Not just that, but it's a HUGE Systems and RAM HOG...if you have less than 2gbs of ram don't even bother to install it...I've been using XP Pro for years and know all about "tweaking" systems settings, overclocking, customizing, etc...and I'm not even going to go near this program for at the very least 4 years..
Hopefully by then Microsoft will have worked out most of the "bugs" that will be in the Operating System and the Software companies will have compatible software that will run on it...
The beta even states that after installing vista some drives will stop working...meaning if you Harddrive don't work you computer will have become a very large paper weight...
And NO, this version of Vista is only good till they release the final version then it goes into self destruct mode and is worthless...
Unless you're an IT Tech that's working with MS on Vista I strongly recommend not installing it as of now...

Yes, I have it installed on one of my laptops. Unfortunately, it's not a high end machine, therefore it runs really slow. I wanted to start playing with it so I would have some idea of what I would have to face when the final version is available. It has some really great features, but is going to take a lot of "getting use to".
