Dry Scalp. Just like dry skin on any other part of your body. It will flake. It is just more noticable on your head because they get stuck in your hair.

its caused not by a dry scalp but actually build up. when you put too much product or if you eat certain foods that contain oil, most likely it'll happen. pretty much what the other person said.

I believe it is your scalp being too dry, in which case conditioner or drandruff shampoo usually does the trick. But yeah, I think it's just dry skin on your scalp.

dandruff is mostly caused by seborrea (greassy sculp), that s caused either by external agents or internal, such as bad diet, nervous, or bad shampoo, lack of cleaning etc etc
