No, dog's love ice cubes. They also help clean their teeth.

Its probably good to give them ice cubes - as long as that's not the only thing you give them.

no. ice cubes are not bad at all. most dogs love them and it helps to keep their teeth clean. you can even use them as treats. mix 1/4 chicken broth with 3/4 water and freeze it. they will go crazy but don't use too much chicken broth cause it can result in weight gain. especially if you have a couch potato like i do...lol.. If you live in a place that gets really hot in the summer you can also buy one of those cheap kids pools at walmart (around $ 15) and fill it with a few bags of ice. the dogs can lay in the ice and also chew the cubes. it helps them to stay cool and it's lots of fun for them. i live in central texas and my dogs love it...

No it is not bad to give your dog ice cubes. Just don't over do it. They are good way to clean your dog's teeth. But, just like in humans, too many can cause the teeth to get too cold and possible break while crunching away. I give my dog several a day, usually after meals, to clean his teeth, and he has very clean teeth.

It is a giood thing to give a dog ice cubes in the summer months. They appreciate it. You can also give frozen veggies such as carrots or green beans for a treat and frozen chicken broth or beef broth. they also make frosty paws ice cream for dogs.

Isn't ice just frozen water? You give your dog water don't you? ;-} My dog loves ice. Haven't you ever seen the dog on funny home videos that pushes the ice button on the fridge and eats it? And as for the "as long as he doesn't choke on it" comment, you can only choke so long on ice before it melts and chances are it is going to melt way faster than you or your dog will die!

Nope, not at all...especially if your dog enjoys them. They are a great treat in the hot summer months. If your dog likes ice cubs, try freezing baby carrots too. They are yummy, healthy and a great way to keep your dog cooler in the summer.

Not at all. I own three dogs and I always give them an occasional icecube. They love them. Most of the time they play around with them. My beagle will actually dunk his face in his water bowl to get them out. It looks like he is bobbing for apples. It is quite funny.

don't think so! I gave my dogs some, nothing happened. Unless there's a problem with your ice!
