This is not even in question....THERE WERE WMD's!
Sadam used chemical agents and killed thousands...those are WMD's
He had long been developing biological weapons and delivery systems....He refused to comply with on demand inspections of various sites as required by terms of surrender after the gulf war...who was fooling who?
Intelligence from multinational sources indicated saddams attrempts at acquiring plutonium...unconfirmed and disputed.
Continued intelligence that saddam was developing longer range delivery systems and had acquired technology to develop nuclear devices.
While no nuclear devices have been found since the invasion
the former commander of saddams air force has stated that WMD's had been developed and manufactured and had been transferred to Syria just days prior to the invasion.
Can any rational thinking person believe under the circumstances that the president was not only justified but required to assume that saddam had some and was in the process of acquiring more WMD's?

Yes there were WMDs in Iraq. The components of some were found just not put together, and not in large stock piles as we expected to find them. Now some may say since they were not operational they are not WMDs. However if I have a gun taken apart in my house, do I or do I not have a gun?

Also there are satillite photos showing trucks leaving from inspections sites, when inspections where going on before the war.

There is also the probablility they were sent over the border in large quantites in secret months before the war ever started.

To top it off Saddam was a weapon of mass destruction himself.

Yes they were there at one point in time. Some were destroyed and some were shipped out to neighboring Iraqi allies. They still had the technology to make them and develop them. Saddam used them on the Kurdish refugees in the north of Iraq before the gulf war. There have been a couple of instances where IED's have been laced with chemical weapons. So with that intel make your own decisions as to whether or not there were WMD.

There is no weaons of mass destruction, otherwise Iraqi will use it against US already. There is no sign of the weapons and believing the weapons are moved to another country is just an excuse to attack one more nation. If we do not find any WMD, that means there is none, we have no proof. We can attack one more nation and say they have WMD, but that country has already moved the weapons to Pluto. What kind of excuse is that, don't make sense at all. Which nation would like to spend millions or billions of dollars on weapon and give it to another country for free. That makes no sense.

Your Question should be : WHAT WMD LIES DO YOU BELIEVE IN ?

this line has been made by American Journalist Paul Street..

By The way people; the president admitted that there were none, The Blix report on WMD stipulate that all WMD were destoyed in Iraq in 1991..

Its not a matter of belief but of verified, fact that is universally accepted by every major government and international agency in the world. Saddam actually used WMD so its a bit hard to deny that he had them.

The sole question is whether Saddam still had WMD when Bush chose to invade.

I do....remember out ridiculous investigations....we let Hussein dictate where and when we would look, and he had plenty of advance warning. My guess is that we just never found them, or they are in a neighboring allied country...
Remember, Congress believed there were WMD's....once upon a time before it turned into an election year.

FACT: Sadam wanted the world to believe he had them. It was a deterrent to keep his own people from over throwing the Bat hist party. He pretended to sneak important things out the back doors of buildings while the UN inspectors were coming in the front doors. It gave him clout and until the end it worked. He never expected us to actually invade. Oil for food was making him disgustingly rich. Wake up please. So, in short, the intel he wanted us to believe was his downfall. The Iranian president is pulling the same crap with more credibility. Courting terrorist organizations around the world with his recent statement of true Jihad and Facilitating the return of Allah. While he is being surrounded Iraq to the west and Afghanistan to the east. It's his last ditch effort to remain in power. Sanctions are coming and there will be no oil for food for this fool to pillage from. His people will tear him down from with in.

Honestly, I do not know. I do wonder why Saddam did not let the inspectors in free and clear if he had nothing to hide. The fault is his. From a diplomatic standpoint he could have averted what happened by agreeing to open inspections by the U.N. under the resolution.
