I went to basic in 1991 at Fort Leonard Wood but my wife is currently in basic at Fort Jackson. It has been a long time so i don't remember what week recurits qualify with thier M16. I am trying to buy ticket for graduation but am trying to wait and see if she qualifies and still grads with her Class. So if anyone can give me some details i would really appreicate it.

I think it's the fourth or fifth week. It's been a few years for me. I know you have to qualify to move on to phase 3.

I think it's the 4th week. My daughter dropped out during unarmed combat and she already had M-16 training.
