Depends on the size of both animals. i dare say a cat would win if the sizes were comparable, cats have both teeth and claws and they're classically built predators.

I have seen several fights between cats & dogs and have yet to see a dog win. One of the dogs had to go to the vet to get stitches. Sorry dog lovers but thats just the way it is!

the cat will run off by the barking of the dog...but if it's a stand off, the cat will most probably win as cat's claws are sharp and able to inflict greater damage than the dog's teeth...the cat's claws will be all over the dog's face even before the dog can try to take a bite of the cat.

it's hard to say because cats scratch...dogs do bit and are bigger but those lil cats can scratch up a dogs face and then jump up to where a dog can't reach em before the dog can get to it...i have a dog and used to have a bird you would expect the dog to win in a fight but the bird bit the dogs nose and the dog ran off cryin then they were best friends after that fo real. lol

Hmm.. It depends. If the dog is a puppy, while the cat is a full grown, healthy cat, the cat will win probably.. But if the dog is full grown while the cat is still a kitten.. probably the dog.

If the dog were larger, he'd have an advantage...but if you had a large cat fighting a chihuahua, the cat would probably win. Ha!

Depends on the critter! I had a siamese cat that was declawed and he used to set on top of the garbage can and wait for the neighborhood dogs to try to get into the can and he would kick the **** out of the dogs they always ran off yelping!

A cat would win hands down, cuz a dog is pretty dumb. Cats are very intelligent animals. They can easily outsmart a dog.

depends on what type of dog and how big of a cat... put a mini Chihuahua up against a Siamese an i think the poor dog would get him bum kicked, but put a German Shepard against a regular tabby cat and dog would kick butt for sure.
