I see you have a lot of people misunderstanding the difference between industrial hemp and marijuana. Don't worry about the answers that say it is bad for you. They don't understand the subject.
Hemp oil is prefered in many body care products due to the types of fats that make up hemp oil. Hemp oil will soften anything it soaks into when used correctly, skin, hair, etc. I don't know if it could cause anything to grow faster or what other effects there may or may not be. Prepared products are probably a better way to go than straight hemp oil.

I am absolutely in favor of legalizing ALL species of hemp for any use whatsoever. The biomass produces methane, the seeds provide oil, the pulp can be used for paper, the fiber can be used for all sorts of textiles. Any move to maintain the discussion at the level of the plant's psychoactive effects is a smokescreen. It wasn't criminalized because of its psychoactive effects--it was for commercial reasons only. The rest was a red-herring. The irony is that the country went along with it, and there are now strains 100x more potent to the head than any of it ever used to be. The other irony is that even proposed laws like the one in CA continue to discuss the plant's commercial value only a a drug, and not in any industrial sense. The law proposes allowing each adult to possess up to one ounce of cannabis.....great if you're a stoner, not so great if you want to make a bunch of denim.

hemp oil can be used for lighting but I never heard of it being used on the hair. Oil is not good for hair, all it does is coat the follicle. you should use a protein pack because the hair absorbs the protein.

yes, I've tried it. It made my hair softer and more manageable, and helped stop some breakage, but it didn't grow any faster.
