YES! ok go to my computer and click on control panel then on system then the advanced tab then startup and recovery then amke sure all three boxes are checked ie: write an event to the system log:send an administrative alert:automaticly reboot and make sure in the write debugging info make sure that its set to small memory dump this is for when win2k gets the blue screen it reboots and dumps some memory so its able to startup and yah then click ok

I don't have a 2000 system handy anymore (just upgraded to 2003). BUT, yes, there should be an option on the startup and Recovery section of the control panel, under system failure, to "automatically Restart" - uncheck it and the BSOD should remain on screen until YOU reboot.

It's not an option.
BSOD does happen in Win2K. It used to happen a lot for me
