I found out that my boyfriend went to this party, that he repeatedly said he wasn't gonna go to. I confronted him, and he acted as if he did nothing wrong.

1) Women change their minds all the time...people change their minds all the time, especially the younger they are. Maybe it *isn't* a big deal to him because he thought the party didn't matter to you (were you going? did you show any interest in it?).
2) Maybe it isn't personal. Guys are rather told a LOT from the first days they can walk to "tough it out, be a man, don't be a crybaby," even when they are just really babies that can walk....sorta....
But yeah, point is, maybe you have a guy who just doesn't think much about *feelings* in general, yours, his own, anyone's really. It doesn't mean he has none, or that he can't get to know yours a bit better, just that he isn't one to talk much about them in a talk-show-ish manner.

They are suppose to be tough that's what they are taught growing up. To be a man you have to be tough not weak, showing no feelings even if they care for someone. They are just as afraid as the next person of getting their feelings hurt. Its all an act but its also a part of growing up.

What was wrong with him going to the party??? Maybe he wanted some time with his friends, and avoided telling you the truth because he didn't want you to go. Just because he's your bf, doesn't mean you have to spend every minute together. Give him some space or he'll find some one who will.

i feel the same way, but it's becuz boys think we badger them and don't trust them so that's y he kept repeatedly saying he wasn't going, so u wouldn't be hurt.........but when u found out he didn't care bcuz u should trust him anyaway.
