Of course a dog can be a soul mate as long as it can love and hate it has a soul therefore it can have a soul mate.

I love my dog more than anything in the world too. Infact I have told my fiance flat out that if he ever left me that I got the dog and he could have everything else.
But the simple fact is that my fiance is my soul mate. If I lost my dog I would be devestated, but if I lost my fiance I would be even more devestated and would need my dog to get through it.
Hang in there. Your soul mate is out there. And your dog is your best friend to help you get through those horrible and lonely times.

As an owner of four dogs I say probably not your soul mate, but definitely your best shot at a long term companion.

Why would you want him to be? You are selling your self short if you settle for a dog as the mate to your soul. You deserve better.

I believe that your dog can be your soul mate. Dogs each have their own personalities. It is surprising how much a dog can form a bond with one person, then snap and snarl at another.

The soul may have been your partner in a past life, someone you may have loved dearly, then during reincarnation it came back in the body of a dog, and you got to be human

it depnds on your situation,sometimes the dog will u remind u of a past love nd that could lead it 2 being ur soul mat but in some cases no b/c u can tell it all your problems but ull never get an answer.:):(
