I do, it says in the bible we all fall short of glory daily.

I ask for forgiveness even when I am not sure if I did anything wrong, or remember them all, do you?

I began asking forgiveness early in life. When I was a year old I asked forgiveness for pooping my diaper, I know it was sin, I know it was evil but I made up the lame excuse that the Devil made me do it when it was really me making the decision to sin. Then when I was 18 months old I learned how to puke on the shoulders of grownups and I also peed when my diaper was changed. I knew those were sins too because it felt good to do it. I think I have been sinning all my life.
Today I ask forgiveness for falling short of the glory this evening by even having the thought that the concept of sin is kind of primitive and barbaric. I ask forgiveness for not asking God to kill his kid for me (even though that gesture was totally uncalled for and unnecessary unless you believe in another barbaric ritual of blood sacrifice which is also goofy).
Forgive me for not believing that if you kill your kid, everything will be alright.
The all powerful God I worship does not ask that I grovel or snivel. Neither does the All Powerful ask for only 10%.

I wonder how many people who said "yes" are lying?

What gets me, and the point that I think is lost on so many people, is that you shouldn't be asking for forgiveness so many times every day. You should be changing the sinful behaviour that you're exhibiting, as opposed to doing sinful things and then asking for forgiveness afterwards.

Prayer isn't a 'get out of jail free' card.

Anyone can be remorseful of their sins. The truely saintly try not to sin to begin with.

I pray to God when I have done something wrong to forgive me. We should pray everyday though. Even before I go to bed at night I ask God to forgive me for the things that I have done that I didn't even know I had done. Thank You LORD for being such a FORGIVING AND AWESOME GOD!

I ask for forgiveness when I recognize I have sinned. The proclivity to sin - ie Original Sin - was expunged in my Baptism.

If you aren't sure you did anything wrong, you can't truly be sorry. Of course, you can always ask for forgiveness for those offenses that weren't obvious to you.

Glad to see a humble heart. "Blessed are the meek, they shall inherit the earth."

I pray 4 times a day. Before my meals and at bedtime.
I ask for forgiveness of my sins, my thoughts if they are bad towards someone. I pray for others as well like our troops here and overseas, family members as well.

I'm really bad. I should start asking God for forgiveness in my prayers, but I forget. Thank you for the reminder...

I do almost every day because I know that Im constantly sinning. In my heart and mind, even when I do not even realize that Im sinning, seems to take no conscience effort to sin.
