A bus stops at a busstop and take in 5 passengers. Then 3 of them get off at the next stop, and 4 more passengers got into the bus the stop after. When it reaches it's destinations, only 1 passenger is left on the bus. How many busses are there in the world?

1) how can there be one person left on the bus.

2) if a person do this calculation they would forget that there are 6 pssengers left

If you figure the each country in the developed world has over 200 buses, or if you take the capacity of each bus as 45 persons, then you can freely divide the population of the world at 3.7 Billion. In as much as 3.7 Billion divided by 45 or say half the people in the world ride buses. There must be a honking lot of buses.

"The difficult calculation" is completely incorrect.

It's supposed to start off as

"You're the bus driver. Your bus stops at a bus stop and takes in 5 passengers..."


Then it ends as

"What's the busdrivers name?"

And by the time you get to that question, the person spent all their time registering the calculation, that they forgot they were the busdriver, thus forgetting their name.
