Hurrucanes are not blue----they are red and taste like watered down cherry kool aid---they will however knock you on your butt ( and yes I am a New Orleans native). Pat O'briens is the best place to go. They have a whole selection of drinks that you can order---it has been a while since I've been ( they are pricey) I think it is a Cyclone that is blue----its what I used to get. It is not a frozen drink if that's what you mean by icey---it is an "on the rocks" drink.

Yes, and I've had many at Pat O'Briens (the creator) in New Orleans. It's an alcoholic beverage made with rum and passion fruit. It's red in color and is always served in a hurricane glass. You can order the mix here:

Yes!
Ingredients:
1 oz vodka
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
1 oz gin
1 oz light rum
1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 oz triple sec
grapefruit juice
pineapple juice
Directions:
Pour all but the juices, in order listed, into a hurricane glass three-quarters filled with ice. Fill with equal parts of grapefruit and pineapple juice, and serve.

Rubbing alcohol isn't for intake. EVER. that is to not be wondered with grain spirits, or what we frequently call 'alcoholic drinks'. ingesting rubbing alcohol will make you very, very ill... no longer tipsy. you'll probable finally end up contained in the health center... or morgue.
