If only I had a girlfriend I would do all sorts of nice things for her. I enjoy walking and shopping and am quite good at looking after children, and all these talents go to waste because I am on my own, so only need to shop for myself and never have any chance to look after and play with children. I also like to eat out proper meals at pubs etc, so I would take her out for meals and buy her nice stuff, but alas no girlfriend, so I got nothing to do with my cash but save it.

I let my husband buy a Harley... but I don't think that's what you mean! You could always get him something that goes along with a hobby or musical interest. Of course, surprise parties are always fun. You could plan a nice homemade meal for him with his favorite foods. Use the good china and candlesticks.

My hubby got into competitive shooting and one year for a surprise I took him to a gun shop and bought him an expensive rifle he had been wanting for a long time - he was surprised and he loves it to this day.

my boyfriend sent a dozen red roses to my job just because...i was so surprised to see them delivered and i felt it was special because he just did it because he loves me...it was really sweet.
