well it depends on his age, but the answer generally has to do with what women want. women do not reach there sexual peak till there late 30s or so. men reach there sexual peak at 18. one of the problems this causes is that most women who fancy themselves attractive are attracted to bravado. in other words young women for the most part are attracted to jerks, (any man who resembles an Alfa male). so the fact that hes acting like a "jerk" means that hes trying to show you that he has the best genes in the group.
