To reduce spicy food you can use sugar or a little bit of white vinegar

cut down on the spicy spices you use or just dont eat so much spicy food all the time

sugar reduces spicy food i know this because i love spicy food and i love to cook but my mom has acid reflex (alcers in the esophagus) so she cant eat it so when you put a little sugar on it it dillutes some of the spice!

Depending on what it is, you can add a bit of yellow mustard in it. It will not take on the mustard flavor, and the spices will calm down a bit. Can actually enhance the flavors of whatever you are cooking, especially in Bar-b-que sauce!
