Well, it all depends on who thinks she is pretty or not. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I think society is so involved with beauty and sex appeal, that we tend to forget that there is an inner beauty and a need to feel sexy even when we are not. I think if someone feels confident in themselves and can overlook the opinions & judgement of others than YES, there is a way for a person who is not so attractive on the outside to feel sexy or have sex appeal.

Yes, being sexy or having sex appeal is different than being physically pretty. A girl might be sexy b/c of her attitude, intelligence, artistic style and so on. Its not just based on looks. Depending on the person doing the looking, of course.

Yes. Sigourney Weaver, for example. Not really a very pretty women. But can be very sexy when she wants to. Barbara Streisand, is another example. In her early movies, she could turn on the sex appeal.

If you're just trying for sex appeal, what does being pretty have to do with it? My mother always told us that "pretty is as pretty does," and I believe that's true. I also believe BEAUTY is in the eyes of the beholder. A young woman who respects herself and behaves modestly (like a lady) and dresses the same, will "appeal" to any decent man.

Heard the old adage-beauty is only skin deep? Sex appeal comes from within, its the way she carries herself, the way she presents to other people, the dignity she shows toward herself, just a little self confidence doesnt hurt, and the attitude. Being pretty is only icing on the cake.

YES!!! Just look at some of the celebs out there.
Look at Billy Bob Thorton! He dated Angelina!!! He is not very cute, but there is something sexy about that man.
I can't think on the top of my head for more examples. But just know that YES, people can be incredibly sexy and they don't need to be conventionally pretty.

Yes, definetly. If a girl has a good body, she can have sex appeal without being pretty.

yes, i think it all depends on the personality and the attitude. You see, there are many girls who have "classic beuty standars" but are not attractive at all; in the other hand, some girls that are realy very attractive to men but if u look at them being objective, they arent pretty.
With guys its the same thing, there are some guys who are sooo attractive and sexy and its like magic, because u cant find sometimes something really pretty on them.

Yes, I think sex appeal is deeply rooted in a woman's maturity, demeanor, the way she handles herself, how she communicates, her sensitivity to a friendship or relationship, a certain aura about her that is not measured in physical beauty or provocative dress.
