I want to be able to look better. I am not fat I just want to have a better body. I LIKE to work out or do outdoor activities anyTIME. I weigh 108 and am 13. IM a girl.
IS THAT THE CORRECT weight for my age. My height is 5'2. Thanks !

Wouldn't consider you overweight by any means.

Best way to get in shape is simply diet and exercise.

At least 1 hour of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training is very beneficial and easy to do.

Three 20 minute sessions of running biking, treadmill, elliptical, etc a week and three 10 minute sessions of weight training.

You are more than a fine body weight for your age. The deal is muscle mass...do yoga or pilates to stay away from bulk... do all the sports you love but do yoga or something like that on your own every day with some sit ups at least for 25 minutes while watching tv or before school.Get a bike all tricked out to ride to your friends house instead a car and swimming is always a winner and fun. EAT healthy most of the time and junk sometimes and stop worrying about the way you look and start laughing more it burns like a billion calories! Just have fun cause when you start worrying it will bloat you more... Back in olden times when we were stressed it was because we were starving so our bodies even today when stressed hold onto extra fat that normally we'd let go when we're happy... besides we look cuter when we're smiling instead of worrying about how many crackers we've eaten...PEACE

Hi , 108 is actually a lite weight for 5'2 but you still young so that is normal, you should be weight training at least 3 to 4 days a week , working out different body parts each day. And do some cardio at least 1 to 2 days a week . the weight training will keep your muscles tone, and the cardio is good for your heart, and your lungs. And last but not least you should eat healthy. And here is a good tip, Try reading oxygen, and women's fitness, those are two good mags. you can learn alot about nutrition and working out.

Below site tells all about the foods and exercise to do to become healthy, fit and thin. This will help you to look better and feel better. Regardless of how thin someone is, having more muscle and less fat always looks much better than more fat and less muscle.

The CA governor and Richard Simmons are both heavy but one looks a lot better than the other. Since you are 13 here is first the page with advice for teens which takes 3 minutes to read. One teen told me that she had to read the book in school on where this info was from so she did not like it. If that is the case with you, let me know.

My daughter is 13, 4 foot 11, and 70 pounds and hasn't seemed to grow! Lol
I wish she was more like you!! Don't worry hun. Your perfectly normal for your height and age.
As long as you are eating right and doing somthing active each day. Like swimming, riding ur bike, jogging, You are perfectly fine!
-Just remember that right now ur still growing, and that a womens body IS supposed to be bigger than a girls body! And besides, you need to atleast have a few extra pounds. Otherwise you would have no boobs!!

Your weight is good for your height. If you feel out of shape, you may need toning to re-distribute your weight better on your frame.

20 - 40 minutes of moderate hard physical exercise daily should do it. If you have access to a gym and a trainer, a whole body workout with weights would be best, but walking, biking and/or running would do, too.

You do not need to loose weight, 108 is typical for a 13 year old. If you have some belly fat you want to get rid of just do some sit ups. you shouldn't loose any weight because at your age it isn't healthy.

Eat Right: Calorie controled diet, Drink water frequently. and Exercise ateast 10-15 minutes a day. Do this consistently. Consult your Doctor to make sure you are OK to follow the above diet.

just eat the balance diet don't do the work out it may give you a muscles, i think you have a perfect weight so you dont need to work out,

your body need more energy and you need to be healthy so don't make any diets just go for the balance diet, always remember that having a better body is you need to be healthy
