Ok, so God created the Earth in 7 days, then God did what, chill out for 25 million years until he decided to create Adam? We know the first men could not speak, too primitive, how did God communicate to Adam and Eve? I'm just not understanding how exaxtly the timeline went down and whether anyone really knows.

i had a christian friend actually tell me once that the same group of scientists had "discovered" all the dinosaur remains and that they planted them only to prove their "theories" correct and that the bones were made of clay and therefore fake. i told him he was insane and walked away.

I think most, even creationists acknowledge there is enough proof of dinosaurs existing. What some reject is the timeline that scientists have established. Some creationists even try to argue that dinosaurs were on the ark with Noah in order to keep a literal interpretation of the flood story and keep a timeline that coincides with their interpretation of the Bible. Of course the dinosaur problem is just a small part of the improbability of the whole Noah story: loading all the animals considering some would have to travel millions of miles, how and where did they get all the food, water vapor would have been so high in air if whole world flooded you would no longer be able to breath, etc....
Many christians other than literalists believe we should either see some of the stories allegorically or that a liberal interpretation is needed rather than trying to see the Bible as concrete fact.

As a christian I will give you how I see it. The bible says that to god a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day. It also says that theree was not a time when was not here. It says that he knows ther future and everything else. That said it would seem to me it could be either way. The earth and the heavens could be the 13 or so billion years old that science says or it could be 6 thousand years old and with the power of god it appear to be 13 billion years old. I personally feel that the universe is very old while man has been here around 6 thousand years. I believe the bible is infallible and any inconsistency's are of our on doing. God can do anything so who's to say he how he did it? The bible says the he did some things to confuse the so called Wise of this world. I am sure you will hear from all the christian bashers who find it easier to believe that all of this happened by accident. As for me, I have felt the power of god when I received the holy ghost and any time I pray through to reach him. I have seen his work. I have seen him work in my life and others. I do not believe because of faith, I believe because I have felt him and seen his work. If you pray to him with a censer and open heart he will reveal himself to you. It is up to you.

I believe that dinosaurs exsisted (just the oxygen amount after the flood changed from 25% to 24% probably killing all the dinosaurs) and He created Adam on the sixth day and Adam could speak because He named the animal. The timeline is in the Bible.

Unfortunately, alot of Christians try to accept that the world is only 40 thousand years old and that the Dinasaurs had to have been created in that timeline.
I think that they don't consider that there was a time before the Garden of Eden.
When you get to that time period, there's already been a judgement; Lucifer has already been kicked out of Heaven. There was many, many years between these two time frames.
The Bible states that the world is old.

God created the world in 6 days. One day in God's time equals one thousand years of our time. There are seven seals. We have just entered the seventh seal. Which is the millennium that Christ will come again, (the second coming of Christ). Adam and Eve could have been here for millions of years, living in innocence, before they became mortal and per took of the forbidden fruit. The bible doesn't specify the amount of time that Adam and Eve spent in the garden of Eden. They could have been there for millions of years. Animals were put here prior to Adam and Eve, according to the bible.

Yup, I believe in dinosaurs--just not 25 million years. I think men and dinos were created together and lived together. I believe the earth is around 6000 years old.

There is no way we could "know" first men did not speak. Anything dealing with how we got here is natural history--we can guess from the historical objects left over and try and fit them together but it is all hypothosis from our current observations.

I also believe in "micro-evolution". This means that things adapt and change within their species. I do not believe the data supports any evidence of "macro-evolution"--jumps from species to species but we have seen adaptation and it can be reproduced.

The time line is all in the Bible.
The Earth is millions of years old. When the dinosaurs were about, we were in the spirit. God created all the races on the sixth day (flesh men). The dinosaurs were all ready extinct.

There is more, but, that's all for today....

I hope this helps.

God created dinosours along with all the other animals. Flying and swimming dinosours on the fith day, land dinosours and man were created on the sixth day, no millions of years involved. And man was never too primitive to speak ,"And Adam said... " Gen. 2:23a

Yes.

There are 3 earth ages (II Pet.3:5-7), same earth but different ages. We are now in the 2nd earth age. Between Gen.1:1 and Gen.1:2 is a vast amount of time, if time existed. Between these 2 verses is Satan’s rebellion (Rev.12:3-4) and “his tail” drew 1/3 of God’s children. Between these 2 verses also belongs all fossils and remains, such as Dinosaurs.

In Gen.1:2 we have the of the end of the 1st earth age and the beginning of the 2nd. For clarity Gen.1:2 needs to be divided (see below).

(A) Gen.1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

(B) Gen.1:2 And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

In (A) Gen.1:2 the first occurrence of the word “was” has been corrupted and is “became”. It reads “And the earth became without form, and void”. The end of the 1st earth age.

In (B) Gen.1:2 we have the beginning of 2nd earth age, the one we live in now. Man did not exist in flesh till this earth age.

Between (A & B) Gen.1:2 is also a vast amount of time, if time existed. Between (A & B) Gen.1:2 is; a global flood (not Noah’s which was a local flood), the destruction of Atlantis, the breakup of Gondwana Land, and the Ice Age.

Time means nothing to our Father. He is very patient and loves His children. Instead of destroying Satan and 1/3 of His children, He destroyed that first earth age. Now in this 2nd earth age we all are born innocent in the flesh. Father came in the flesh Himself, Jesus Christ, and paid the price for all. Father defeated Satin, that is death, legally. So now His children have a decision, to choose life or to choose death. It’s your decision. Choose life!!

7 days to us is 7 days. 7 days to God could have been completely different. I believe there was a lot of trial and error in all the creation. And you do have to admit one thing. God must have a really good sense of humour to make some of these crazy animals and bugs.
